Yes, the slection seems to work, the retangle is displayed. But it
disappears when I release the mouse.
Yes, last tag from git (V0.8, efl 1.14.2, e 0.19.7).

No, I have not a simple procedure to reproduce it.
I work, then after some minutes it occurs.

Did the text selected actually change underneath the selection?
Do you know a reliable way to reproduce it?
Which version of terminology? Also from git?

[e-users] Problem with Terminology selection function

2015-08-06 Thread Pierre Couderc
In terminology, I can use copy function by selecting a part of text,
with mouse click and drag.
Very often after a few time, selection works no more, that is, text is
selected while I drag the cursor, but selection disappers when I release
the mouse button.
This is in all last versions (that I did install) of softwares since 6
months (or more...).
This may occur on not on a just started terminology terminal, but does
not seem to appear immediately after starting e.

Is this problem known or specific to my computer ?
I am using debian jessie minimum installation, all e from git, not
development version, but last tags.

Can you try HEAD on terminology's git?
