what does:

strings /proc/PID/environ | grep XDG_RUNTIME_DIR

say for efreetd, enlightenment_start and enlightenment PIDs?

I have just seen this a couple of times with efl-1.23.3, but only after
an error has required a restart of E23.1. Each time a second restart
occurred normally without the error message.

[e-users] Efreet strange message

2020-04-18 Thread Massimo Maiurana
Hi,
just updated efl and e and I get a strange error message at e's startup:

"Efreet did not update cachePlease check your efreet setup.
Is efreetd running?
Can ~/.cache/efreet be written to?"

Well, the answer is yes to both questions. Ps says efreet is indeed
running and not only its cache dir can be written, its files was almost
all written while e was displaying that message.

Timing issues? The check performed by e was did a very little time
before efreet actually did his own work?
