[e-users] temperature processes

2009-12-18 Thread Geoffrey
I have 62 tempget processes running on my current E17 install. Sounds
like a bit much. Is that normal?

They are there as a punishment to you for logging out and logging in
multiple times ( how dare you leave e ;-) ).

Well, on a more serious note, they shouldn't be there. And yes, you can
kill them. killall tempget should do the job.

Great segway!!

I have been logging out and logging back in to try to resolve the fact
that my reboot/shutdown/screen lock options are not on my menus. :(
I've added the following:

users: esoteric allow: *

to my /opt/e17/etc/enlightenment/sysactions.conf

But that does not seem to have resolved these issues.

Well, on a more serious note, they shouldn't be there. And yes, you can

Will do, thanks.

It's missing the config for the panel. Easier way to solve it is to
start with a fresh config.

Yes. Alternatively you can try to merge the config manully, something
I'm finding strange E didn't do, but you may screw it up anyway. Since
this is not something really recommended, I'll leave it to you to figure
out how to do, should choose to go that way.
