Usually they should already are if a package is orphaned, because it means it is probably not maintained properly anymore. Yes, thank you. Will you continue to give advance notification of the purge dates? Why is this helpful? If a package is orphaned and someone wants to adopt it, this should be done now and not at late as possible.
