Dear Wilhelm,
Apologies for not adding the subject. I have added the subject here. Is
that the correct format?

With regards,
Samiha

Re: [etherlab-users] (no subject)

2019-01-15 Thread Samiha Islam
Hello,
I was a bit confused so as to how to modify the SDO data for the 'ethrcat
xml' command. I am concerned that the commands 'ethercat config' and
'ethercat domain' yields nothing. I am working on a modified version of the
'user' example for my slave. It contains the cyclic task.
So the PDO cyclic control loop only works in OP state? Not in PREOP? Do I
change the state and then run the code?

Thank you!
Samiha

[etherlab-users] (no subject)

2019-01-09 Thread Samiha Islam
Hello,
I have installed etherlab 2.1 successfully with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and rt
preempt kernel 3.4.69. I am using command line tools and with only one
slave Faulhaber motion controller mc 5005. I have installed most things
using the bundle provided in etherlab website. May I please get some
guidance how I can handle the sdo data for the slave? Also how to use the
ethercat xml command for the slave info? Thanks.
