Re: [Evolution] Error writing data to TLS socket

2019-05-22 Thread Paul W Parker via evolution-list
The solution - short term, working for myself was:

COMMAND: zypper install --oldpackage libgnutls30-3.6.2-lp150.6.1

Reading quite a lot, before found what worked...

As not doing this frequently, found using PRINT to PDF works ok, with
the PDF able to be linked.

Self uses openSUSE Leap 15 (64-bit) GNOME 3.26.2

Are you unable to change Layout - Scale ?

Self does:

Select message to print

For self shows: "General" then "Print to File"
(Also: All pages, Copies 1)

Change tab to : "Page Setup"

Layout
  Two-sided: (faded: "Not available")
Pages per side: "Not Available" (changeable)
  Page ordering: (faded: "Not available")
  Only print: "All sheets" (changeable)
  Scale: 100 (- + % changeable)

Paper
   Paper type: (faded: "Not available")
   Paper source: (faded: "Not available")
   Output tray: (faded: "Not available")
   Paper size: "A4" (changeable)
   Orientation: "Portrait" (changeable)

Halves size text prints when self changes Layout - Scale: 50 %

Re: [Evolution] Failed to refresh folder..

2017-10-14 Thread Paul W Parker via evolution-list
With Evolution 3.20.5 on GNOME Version 3.20.2 on openSUSE Leap 42.3 64-
bit  also having Calendar failure error messages.

Btw errors show Yahoo Calendar, not for Google Calendar.

Yahoo changes since December 2016 Yahoo data security issues, another update
this week acknowledged widened data security issues, Yahoo may also reduce
external accesses options.

Today installed evolution-ews to see IF it helps with my Yahoo Calendar error
problem.

My installing evolution-ews with zypper resolved package dependencies and
installed these five:

 evolution-ews 3.20.5-3.2
 evolution-ews-lang 3.20.5-3.2
 libeews-1_2-0 3.20.5-3.2
 libewsutils0 3.20.5-3.2
 libmspack0 0.5-7.3

Do you UNINSTALL older versions, or just DELETE/REMOVE them ?

When DELETE/REMOVE them your system may think they still there, so try
using them, then may update or reinstall them to fix problem of them
not working, as not there, by re-installation or upgrading.

When uninstall files expect links using them removed, so files/apps are
not trying to use now removed files.
