RE: Ximian Exchange 2000

2002-05-06 Thread Chris Scharff

I'd much rather use a mail client than OWA as my regular method of access.

I've got a shop with numerous Linux users, but we also use exchange.

I'm tired of the IMAP mess and want to enable them to
 participate in

anyone tried the GNOME (Ximian) Evolution software with
 exchange 2000

If so, what are some of the bugs/pitfalls that you've

Flamed? I hope you continue to report on how it's going. Lotsa interest in
non-Windows clients.

IIS, I don't want to have to patch every day and a half.

RE: Ximian Exchange 2000

2002-05-03 Thread Roger Haxton

I'm using Evolution fine in IMAP mode with my EX 5.5 (SP4) server. Doesn't help with
EX2k, I know, but.. What I can't get to work is checking my LDAP on my 5.5 server
as I do with my Outlook Express clients that are using that solution (in authorised
only mode. No anonymous access to the LDAP server.)
