Hey Tom, do you have any experience with Symantec Mail Security, especially in a multi domain environment? I have it working perfectly on a test (single domain) Exchange 2000 server. But in production it just sits and ignores inbound mail (inbound filtering policies do not get triggered at all). The production environment is multi-domain, and Exchange is installed in child domains. I just got my hands on it a few days ago. Overall it seems like a great product. I think I still like Sybari Antigen better, but Symantec Mail Security has some nice features too. Anyway, Symantec Mail Security gets installed ON the Exchange server. I have had problems with it totally ignoring inbound SMTP traffic when I need it to do content filtering. I believe virus scanning is working fine. SMTP content scanning worked fine on my test server, but for some reason it is misbehaving in production.
