[It just so happens, that on the day that it was announced that Maharishi
Mahesh Yogi, had passed away, in Feb. 2008...

On that same day, Senator Barack Obama won the Iowa primary setting the stage
for him to become the first 'Black' Presdient of the United States of America!!

Well, it's 2012, midpoint, and things are really... 'a changin'...'

It was said in the 'Dead Sea Scrolls', hiden at the time of Jesus, in the
desert and was discovered in 1947...

It is quoted to have said that, 'The 'Righteous ONe' would replace the 'ONe who
leads people astray with his lying tongue'...

The 'Righeous One' would become a 'World Leader for Peace'...

And, would re-estabish the 'Law of One' and that:

'We are our 'Brothers Keeper'...

'The liars will be exposed all all of their lies will topple them down to the
'Hell they had Created'...on earth...

'The Gold that they worship so diligently will not serve them well, anymore'...

So, it is obvious in the coming 2012 election who serves the 'Holy Spirit' and
who serves the 'Evil one'...

Breaking news alert/ Obama~Biden in 2012!

Actually I was pretty positive that it wasn't Segovia playing that and the
consensus online is that it is a fake. Segovia never recorded Greensleeves and
certainly would never have allowed that recording to have his name on it.

To be honest, *I* could play better than that with only a few years to get my
fingers back in shape.

Here is Segovia *casually* demonstrating the different sounds of the guitar and
how they are played: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJrEl4Nsmsg

and here is segovia conducting a Master class. Note that the *student* sounds
infinitely better than that recording of Greensleeves. Note also that Segovia
casually starts playing along with him. Note the clarity of every note from
both student and teacher...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMhqqEfiO3Q

No-one who sounded like that recording could have even passed the first
screening to be taught by Segovia.

Lawson (whose first teacher DID attend a Segovia master class. I once sat next
to Pepe Romero when he was conducting a master class at the U of AZ 29 years
ago and discussed simple finger exercises with him after the class).

What a nice tune to wake to. It's a meditation in itself. Fairfield has had
an English Country Dance for years most every Friday nite with music like
 this.
 http://fairfolk.org/

Remembering, the English Country Dance group of meditators danced, played music
and performed on MIU campus for years earlier on. Built a large wooden dance
floor in the student Union basement. Then some members got banned from the
Domes and banned from playing music on campus for having seen some saints. The
group had to take their activities off campus as some TM-TB'ers of the group
even shunned these other members of the group. The group has not been back to
campus since. That was about a dozen or so years ago. Some of the banned
people have not yet been back meditating in the Domes since. The bannings
generated some really bad feelings. Though meditators all, some of the
hardercore TM-TB'ers still won't come out and dance with the group.

And ev'ry pow'r find sweet employ
In that eternal world of joy.

Come, humble sinner, in whose breast
   A thousand thoughts revolve.
Come with your guilt and fear oppressed,
   And make this last resolve.

I'll go to meditate , though my vasana
Hath like a mountain rose;
I know its courts, I'll enter in,
Whatever may oppose.

I can but perish if I go,
 I am resolved to try,
For if I stay away I know
 I must forever die.

What meditation is this that will take us all home,
 O glory, hallelujah!
And safely land us on the Unified Field's bright shore?
 O glory, hallelujah!

 (refrain)
 'Tis the Golden Dome Meditation, hallelu, hallelu;
'Tis the Golden Dome Meditation, hallelujah!

This Meditation landed all who have gone before,
O glory, hallelujah!
And meditation is able to land still more,
O glory, hallelujah!

(refrain)
 'Tis the Golden Dome Meditation, hallelu, hallelu;
'Tis the Golden Dome Meditation, hallelujah!

The winds may blow, and the billows may foam,
   O glory, hallelujah!
But this meditation is able to land us all home,
   O glory, hallelujah!

If I arrive there, then, before you do,
  O glory, hallelujah!
I'll tell them all that you are coming up, too.
  O glory, hallelujah!

  (refrain)
  'Tis the Golden Dome Meditation, hallelu, hallelu;
'Tis the Golden Dome Meditation, hallelujah!

 Om Shanti, Shanti!
 Om,

   The Golden Domes yield
   A thousand sacred sweets
Before we reach the heav'nly fields,
   Or walk the golden streets.

  (fugue)
  Then let your songs abound,
  And ev'ry tear be dry;
  We're marching through Nature's ground
  To fairer worlds on high.

[FairfieldLife] Re: TM's biggest problem?

2012-07-16 Thread Xenophaneros Anartaxius
I seem to recall reading this report, whose general conclusion was that
meditation research was not of sufficiently high quality to determine how
useful meditation is for improving health. If you look at the error bars in the
graph you posted initially, one really cannot create an ordered list from it,
as Bhairitu did, saying which intervention is really best, at most maybe Tai
Chi stands out - barely, and probably not significantly. A few TM meditators
also contributed to this report and were upset with the result, I presume
because TM did not stand out as special in any way. No meditation stood out in
this report as the research was considered at this point inconclusive.

The purpose of meditation is a tool for enlightenment, not to make one group or
another that one might have a preference for, and oneself as a member of one of
those groups special in some way. Meditation may have health effects, but using
possible but not sufficiently proved health effects for proselytizing the
underlying ideology seems ingenuous. This is what I feel the TMO, and other
oganisations do. Looking for a marketing edge rather than trying to find out
what is so. This approach weakens any organisation promoting a meditation in
the eyes of the scientific community because it shows a lack of respect and
understanding concerning scientific protocol. Because mindfulness meditation
systems in many ways have become less proprietary, research in this area may be
less tainted than for TM.

To quote Richard Feynman:

'Science is a way to teach how something gets to be known, what is not known,
to what extent things are known (for nothing is known absolutely), how to
handle doubt and uncertainty, what the rules of evidence are, how to think
about things so that judgments can be made, how to distinguish truth from
fraud, and from show.'

While it might be difficult to indict TM for scientific fraud, Feynman's
comment about *show* certainly seems to apply to the TMO method for using
science.

I dunno but I've got to call Comcast today because HBO showed up

it, as Bhairitu did, saying which intervention is really best, at most maybe
Tai Chi stands out - barely, and probably not significantly.

You're confusing me with Vaj. He published the list. I commented that
the effect of meditation on blood pressure can depend on the mantra
used. There are specific mantras that will lower blood pressure but
that is a much more specific method of giving out mantras (usually
Ayurvedic based). I also know people who were given blood pressure
medicine who had to go off it because they were passing out from low
blood pressure. Taking a random reading of blood pressure may not be
always a great idea as some people blood pressure will fluctuate.

Robert, do you get how crazy your Obama wankery is around election time?

No, I don't...this is just my opinion, and I have a right to my opinion; and I
don't care who thinks it's crazy...

All I know that for a 'Black Man' to do what he as done, must be extremely
brave, and on a soul level, he must be in a 'Different Space' than any other
person of color; for examply the 'Big, bad', General Colin Powell, as way too
chicken to run for President as a black man...

The whole situation with Jesus Christ, and the Roman take0ver of his teachings,
in the 4th century...screwed up everything...

They made him into a 'God' like they did with Caesar...

He was a man; everyone kind of forgets that part...

He bled, experienced the pain and joys of being human, and was murdered for no
reason, by the Romans and their Jewish puppets...

I am just saying that Barack Obama, in this time we are in, is bringing much
healing to the whole world...

I know you will never 'see this' but that's ok...
I can 'see'..

I just wanted to express my feeling and perceptions on this subject, because
thank God, this is still a free country...

As far as Willard Romney is concerned, he is a typical 'Christian' that only
gives lip service to Jesus, while all the time...
Worshipping Gold and money...

Romney is a complete sell-out...

That God for our brother Barack Obama...who stands up for the poor, just like
Jesus did, and was killed for that...

But, unlike Jesus, who said, his kingdom was not on this earth...
Now, someone like Barack Obama, who we can say, is speaking the same words as
Jesus with the same senitment...
Has become the leader of the 'Modern Day Roman Empire'...

Hope you can see my point, despite your negative feelings toward Presidnt
Obama...

Robert

Or call the CSR and raise hell. Which I did because they told me I
could only be comped for HBO 3 months at a time. They should have sent
a snail mail or email notice about that. All I was told was in April I
would get HBO as a comp for 12 months for subscribing to the Preferred
tier for 12 months. Grrr. Well I have it back but will have to
remember to call in 3 months again. Funky business operation.

Capitalism sucks.

I dunno but I've got to call Comcast today because HBO showed up
unsubscribed so I didn't get to record True Blood or Newsroom. I'm
supposed to have it (for free) until next April. I haven't check but it
might have also been a system wide glitch. I was recording another show
so didn't want to call support to have them ping the DVR as that could
 disrupt that recording.

Robert, this is what Edg was responding to.  What you wrote are NOT
observations!

Robt:  So who really cares about Microsoft anyway
Share:  The implication is that no one does.

Robt:  Just a bunch of homosexuals anyway
Share:  Implying, with the phrase just a bunch that they don't matter.

Robt:  Maybe they'd feel more at home with Dick Cheney and his lesbian daughter.
Share:  A double whammy.  First, implying that to be a homosexual is as bad as
to be a very corrupt politician.  Second, that the homosexuals at Microsoft
will feel at home with such a person.

Apology accepted and some ho'oponopono:

I'm sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you

[FairfieldLife] Re: 'A Maharishi/ Bevan TM Koan!'...

2012-07-16 Thread Robert
And, BTW, Maharishi didn't 'hate' Jesus; he was just very upset with the
misaligned teachings that were being propounded in 'His Name'...

The strange church in Roma,
The strange ideas of the 'Fundies' who think that Barack Obama is a Muslim, and
think that TM is the 'Work of the Devil'...

I heard that Maharishi said, that he loved giving the order to 'Tear down the
historic Church' structure, on the M.U.M. campus a few years ago...along with
the old 'Parson's Hall'...

I understand that not only did Maharishi, not throw the money changers out of
the Temple, but instead welcomed them in with open arms, and seemed to be at
home with the 'Elitists'...
Which is totally not the style of Jesus...

So, it Seems that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, came into this life, with a
very big agenda, to teach the people the actual substance to what Jesus Christ
was teaching, as well as all the rest of the 'Enlighened People of history'...

He had waited quite a long time, to reincarnate again...so was 'Well Rested'
for this very huge mission...

All we can say is, 'Thank you, Maharishi for keeping the Faith'...and returning
at such a tumultuous time on this blue planet, Earth!!

Did you know that 'Oprah' and a lot of black people in this country, actually
think that Barack Obama is the 'Savior'...and you can imagine why? If you give
yourself a little imagination...!

Did you know that even 'Rush Limbaugh' consistently calls President Obama, 'The
One'...
So, even Rush is sold out to this perception of Barack Obama...
And since Rush has taken a lot of 'Mind Expanding Drugs'..he must surely know
what he's talking about!

So, to say that Barack Obama is a reincarnation of Jesus Christ, is just the
same thing that they are saying...

The 'Messiah'...right?

What was the 'Jewish Word, Messiah' mean anyway...

The F'n Romans stole the whole thing from the Jews, anyway...
They killed or watched them be killed in their Stadiums, all around Roma..

BTW, the reason why Maharishi hated George W. Bush so much, was that he
'Remembered' him, from that 'Jesus Time' on earth, that he had been the
'Emperor Caligula'...
Perfect huh= Kali-Uga Cali-ula...

Wow!

One time, back in 1985, there was the 'Live Aid' concert in Philadelphia...
The day after the concert, my ex and myself, at breakfast at the 'Barkley
Hotel' where Mick Jagger was staying...we had brunch there, and it was
excellent!
Later that afternoon, I went over the the 'Four Season's Hotel' where there was
still a party going on..
Apparently Tina Turner was having this party there...
I kind of just walked in, passing the security, and I felt so much energy there
at that Hotel it was astounding..
I understand it was Tina's practice that I felt, which was a very high
vibrational blissful energy, for sure!

The night before she had performed with Mick Jagger...I'll find the video and
post it, after I find it..

If you want to think of Jesus Christ, like the Catholic Church would have you
believe that he is just this Jew hanging on one of their crosses...while the
Catholic Church stood by, while all kinds of crimes were committed in the 'Name
of Jesus'...

Listen, Jesus was just a guy, just like Barack Obama...
It's not my fault that Obama's is black..
I don't love him because he is black...
I don't love him because I want his body...
I love him because he has the guts, to do what nobody else could do...
And that is to bring some semblence of humanity after what George W. Bush and
his ilk did to this country, for eight long years..

And without the invention of the internet, during this period, we would surely
be in a severe dictatorship right now...as the Republicans would do that in a
minute...

Because they think that they are elite and better than others...
They are not much different than the Nazis of 1930's-40's Germany...

Barack Obama, is perfectly reflecting Jesus message as far as I am concerned...
And the Mayan Prophesy, predicts that this will be the 'End of the 13 Hells'
primarily created by the 'White People who feel Superior' and have been
responsible for 13 holocausts, that created 'Hell on Earth' for so many...
Including the Jews, the Native Americans, and so many other examples of
'Christian Terrorism'...

So, you can make fun of me, as much as you will...

But, in this region of time, where the light is seperating from the dark, and
all the secrets of the dark and how they manipulate and brainwash, and rape and
murder is now being exposed for all the see...

All I can say is, 'Thank you God, for allowing the internet to Exist'...
So, these assholes can finally be brought to the light and dissappaited...
