 This is particularly despicable:

I didn't mention it because that was a remnant of a Republican Party that no

Subject: Fwd: Fw: Fwd: 3 short sentences

3 short sentences

When you vote for an incumbent you are perpetuating our government as it is
now. Nothing will change.

These three short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current
government and cultural environment:

1.) We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics,
but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few
lunatics.

Funny how that works. And here's another one worthconsidering.

2.) Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of
money.
How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money?
What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the
second didn't.

Think about it. Last but not least:

3.) Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our
military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are
not stopping payments to illegal aliens such as monthly payments for each
child, money for housing, food stamps, free education
including college and also the right to vote?

Am I the only one missing something? If not, pass this along.

The Democrats are the party of racism. They  perpetuated slavery, set up Dread
Scot laws , segregation and Jim Crow laws(everyone of them passed by Democratic
legislatures and signed by Democratic governors), lynchings, the Ku Klux Klan,(
who's founder, Nathan Bedford Forest, was a Democratic party
delegate),eugenics, a welfare system to tear black families apart, keep them in
ghettos and killing each other and make them dependent on their Democratic
masters. Look at the state of the black family today and tell me they are
better off than they were before the Great Society.

This is fascinating.Conservatives used to hide their racism by using code
phrases like"states rights", but in the era of Trump it has out and proud
completelyin the open. This despicable post is a an excellent example of
thegenre.

Mike Dixon mdixon.6569@... [FairfieldLife]Sunday, July 24,2016 9:19 AM
Identifying 1980 as thebeginning of the GOP stranglehold on the Southis not
historically accurate. It started in 1964 with Goldwater. In 1968the South went
for George Wallace. In 1972 the South went for Nixon.Carter's 1976 victory is
the ONLY election since 1960 in which theDemocratic candidate won a majority of
the states in the deep South.

The *Jig* wasup for the Democrats by 1964.The party of slavery, segregation,
JimCrow, eugenics, couldn't continue. The Supreme Court was shutting
downsegregation. It had to revamp. The scam had to change in order to
stayalive. Lyndon B. Johnson noted that there were more blacks registeringto
vote in Texas than whites. He said" I have to give them something, not much, but
enough to keep them quiet. I'll have  niggers votingDemocratic for the next two
hundred years." He began his Great Societycampaign. He created the Welfare
system, with welfare checks, foodstamps, section 8 housing etc. All a woman had
to do was raise herfamily without a man. No husband, no male roll model in the
house. Thushe recreated the *new*  slave plantation. The new massa was the
federalgovernment with the intent of keeping it run by Democrats. Do as I sayif
you want to keep what you've got. These benefits were also extendedto the newly
arriving immigrants and this is the purpose of newimmigration reform, to insure
another 10-20 million new Democraticvoters. It's all a scam for political power
for self enrichment. Thepeople receiving these benefits rarely rise out of
their station and gofrom one generation to the next while the Party bosses
thrive. You everknow a politician to retire *not* significantly better ff than
when hewas first elected? What is the state of poverty today as opposed to1964?
About the same.

I didn't mention itbecause that was a remnant of a Republican Party that no
longer exists.Just like the Democratic Party, the Republicans were split
betweenbetween Northern and Midwestern liberals and moderates (the
truedescendents of Lincoln) on one side and conservatives on the other.Starting
in 1964, and becoming fully realized in the Reagan years, theconservatives
completely took over the party. Goldwater lost theelection, but he was
enthusiastically supported by Ronald Reagan (whocampaigned for him), and like
Goldwater Reagan opposed the 1964 CivilRights Act. The hostility expressed
towards civil rights was a minorityopinion in the Republican Party of 1964, but
by 1980 theGoldwater/Reagan wing completely controlled the Party and the
NorthernRepublican party had all but disappeared (there is not a single
GOPHouse member remaining from New England).

"Goldwater was never elected and the Republican party distancedthemselves from
him since." Where did you get the idea that the GOP has"distanced" itself from
Barry Goldwater? Nothing could be further

Identifying 1980 as the beginning of the GOP stranglehold on the South is
not historically accurate. It started in 1964 with Goldwater. In 1968 the South
went for George Wallace. In 1972 the South went for Nixon. Carter's 1976
victory is the ONLY election since 1960 in which the Democratic candidate won a
majority of the states in the deep South.

The *Jig* was up for the Democrats by 1964.The party of slavery, segregation,
Jim Crow, eugenics, couldn't continue. The Supreme Court was shutting down
segregation. It had to revamp. The scam had to change in order to stay alive.
Lyndon B. Johnson noted that there were more blacks registering to vote in
Texas than whites. He said" I have to give them something, not much, but enough
to keep them quiet. I'll have niggers voting Democratic for the next two
hundred years." He began his Great Society campaign. He created the Welfare
system, with welfare checks, food stamps, section 8 housing etc. All a woman
had to do was raise her family without a man. No husband, no male roll model in
the house. Thus he recreated the *new* slave plantation. The new massa was the
federal government with the intent of keeping it run by Democrats. Do as I say
if you want to keep what you've got. These benefits were also extended to the
newly arriving immigrants and this is the purpose of new immigration reform, to
insure another 10-20 million new Democratic voters. It's all a scam for
political power for self enrichment. The people receiving these benefits rarely
rise out of their station and go from one generation to the next while the
Party bosses thrive. You ever know a politician to retire *not* significantly

from these numbers, the important point is that ALL of the Democratic
No votes came from the South, the inheritors of the Southern
Democratic Party of 1860. This wing of the party no longer exists. It
has been completely taken over by Republicans, initially led by Strom
Thurmond (another famous segregationist) who switched parties in 1964.

Denying that the GOP took over what used to be the Southern Democratic
Party because only 1% switched parties is just silly. Very few
politicians formally switch parties. It is a rare event for ANY
reason. That has nothing to do with the historical transformation of
the Parties that began in 1964.

All of the examples you provide of Republican support for and
Democratic opposition to civil rights occur well before 1980. Those

For those who think practically about an economic reality of 'tourism' that
does come to Fairfield, Iowa this ‘branding’ as a communal exercise helps
clarify our own thinking about Fairfield as a community also helps in the
sharing with others insights into Fairfield, Iowa as a place.

The facts that are in the film are well known to those that have had any
interest but few have tied them to the Democratic party or how Democrats have
tried to pass the blame. Many people are just plain ignorant of American
history .Andrew Jackson, slavery, the theft and sale of native lands and Trail
of Many Tears, Dread Scot, the Ku Klux Klan, *all* of the segregation laws,
eugenics, Woodrow Wilson and the resurgence of the Klan in the twentieth
century, and he goes into detail on where the Democrats stood and voted  and
where the Republicans stood and voted on these issues which Alan doesn't.
All Alan does is poo poo D'Souza and tries to down play his confinement and
contact with criminals. Alan doesn't mention that D'Souza was the first and
only person to be convicted and sentenced to jail time, weekly psychological
counseling, and community service for giving too much money to a political
candidate, who didn't even know *who* the money came from. Which D'Souza claims
was punishment for his film, Obama 2016.

LOL if you can't disprove the message, then attack the messenger. D'Souza does
an excellent job of exposing the history of the Democratic party from Jackson
to current times.
Even Alan Zilberman couldn't refute what D'Souza had to say! All he could do
was what Judy did, attack the messenger or the quality of it's
presentation.D'Souza doesn't really say anything new, it's all a matter of
historical record, which most people aren't aware of or have paid any attention
to. Snopes and Politifact are going to have a tough time denying what he says.
D'Souza shows the con games Democrats have been running for almost two
hundred years. Whenever they're caught, the deny them and blame others,
Republicans, Southerners, blacks, crazy women etc. and then start a new con.

Yes, a near endless parade of losers and malcontents, nursed at the teat of Fox
news and hate radio. Whiny little children who keep insisting their incoherent
fantasy of America is the Right One. Pathetic, and flaming out quickly. It will
be interesting to watch them all act out like two year olds when a woman is
elected President.

The problem is a complete inability to learn or adjust. First they tried Bush
who fucked things up so badly, he and Cheney practically ended civilization as
we know it, including bringing about the worst attack ever on American soil.
Then their answer to that complete debacle is...Trump. They can't seem to get a
clue, except to prop up garbage 'exposes' on whomever they don't like.

completely took over the party. Goldwater lost the election, but he was
enthusiastically supported by Ronald Reagan (who campaigned for him), and like
Goldwater Reagan opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act. The hostility expressed

but by 1980 the Goldwater/Reagan wing completely controlled the Party and the
Northern Republican party had all but disappeared (there is not a single GOP

It could simply be that in her language, the word for president is masculine.
Thus what she was saying is that Obama is the last male president.

The first rule of the con- man is when the con is discovered, deny deny deny!
Then point your finger at  the one that discovers the con and blame him and

on their affair being discovered, "just  blame it on the Republicans"!Hillary
Clinton, "it's all part of a vast right-wing conspiracy"!
Dinesh D'Souza does a real number on the secret history of the Democratic
party.  The deal is, it never was a secret, it's always been a matter of public
record, if you went looking. The Dems always blamed someone else for the
failures of their policies, which were meant to enrich themselves. The Clintons
have just taken the Democratic scams to a new level, a global level on
steroids, taking in hundreds of millions to the Clinton Foundation, from
foreign nationals and governments for influence in the US government. They've
moved from selling the Lincoln bedroom and selling pardons to rich criminals,
to selling America to the highest bidder and they do it for... "the children".
D'Souza may end up back in prison or dead for this one.

would've set in long ago from all the impotent finger-pointing they do.
Republicans these days are all about pointing out failures and issues with the
actions of the opposition party and candidates, having accomplished nothing but
failure themselves. It is so empty-headed to simply focus on the drumbeat of
supposed negative actions by those they oppose, much of it exaggerated for
effect. What a party of emptiness, nothingness, and loss. No message, and no
candidate, only hatred and opposition.
It won't get them far. America doesn't have to become great again. It already
is, and simply because a bunch of bigots can't deal with the ongoing legacy of
consensus in this country, and a black guy as President, they make it out that
the country is in the worst shape ever, being led by criminals, etc. Bunch of
racists and misogynists spreading a hateful message. The air is leaking from
that balloon rapidly, and will never sustain a party based on such low values.
Looks like Clinton in November, no problem.

The *Jig* was up for the Democrats by 1964.The party of slavery, segregation,

Identifying 1980 as the beginning of the GOP stranglehold on the South is not
historically accurate. It started in 1964 with Goldwater. In 1968 the South
went for George Wallace. In 1972 the South went for Nixon. Carter's 1976
victory is the ONLY election since 1960 in which the Democratic candidate won a
majority of the states in the deep South.

Denying that the GOP took over what used to be the Southern Democratic Party

switch parties. It is a rare event for ANY reason. That has nothing to do with
the historical transformation of the Parties that began in 1964.

Rates of Change. The calculus of aging in TM..

Some of what we can see in these lists is a natural aging-out of the Post-War
Cohort, of the people who were early with Maharishi in the very early SRM
movement, the Walter Koch and Charlie Lutes generation of TM.

Now what we are seeing in TM is an accelerating rate of attrition to aging-out
of the Boomer I and Boomer II’s. Interestingly, the cusp time period where the
Boomers I and Boomers II met was the time frame where TM took off in popular
(college undergrad, grad student, professor-age) culture for a time. A lot of
the TM movement intake happened in those years 1968-76, over the cusp of the
Boomers I and II.

You can see this particular cusp in the age span of meditators in the Dome or
at campus meetings of the TM community now. The WWII generation is pretty much
gone from the ranks of TM now. The Post-War Cohort are pretty gone or
geriatric now and the Boomers I are increasingly shuffling or gone on. Boomers
II are increasingly ‘in diminish’. Time is short regardless.

 Post-War Cohort
 Born: 1928-1945
 Coming of Age: 1946-1963
 Age in 2004: 59 to 76
 Current Population: 41 million (declining)

Boomers I or The Baby Boomers
 Born: 1946-1954
 Coming of Age: 1963-1972
 Age in 2004: 50-58
 Current Population: 33 million

 Boomers II or Generation Jones
 Born: 1955-1965
 Coming of Age: 1973-1983
 Age in 2004: 39 to 49
 Current Population: 49 million

For a long time the Baby Boomers were defined as those born between 1945 and
1964. That would make the generation huge (71 million) and encompass people who
were 20 years apart in age. It didn't compute to have those born in 1964
compared with those born in 1946.

Well, "cessation", ni-rodha in Sanskrit, is a key word used by Kapila:

"And from the contrast with that which is composed of the three constituents,
there follows, for the Purusha, the character of Being, a witness; freedom from
misery, neutrality, percipience, and non-agency."

The non-agency is the interplay of the gunas born of nature that issues the
appearance of creation: "Change implies something to change; whatever is,
always is, and whatever is not, never is."
Ni-rodha is thus a "cessation of the mind stuff", a meditation that is
transcendental, or beyond change. A special word used by the historical Buddha.

practiced, more reading and study of good scripture and literature, and more
people out helping others, to better stabilize things in this post-modern
