Csre, According to MMY, the Rig Veda does not have a story line to follow like the Bible or the Koran. The Rig Veda can only be understood by the sound values that it creates for the individual. Perhaps, the sound contributes to the creation of Soma in the rishi's stomach. In the past, MMY suggested that TM researchers search for certain chemical compounds which act as Soma to induce higher states of consciousness. I don't know what happened to this research.
