Nations Up in Arms Over Additional Housing in Jerusalem Neighborhood I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. (Zechariah 12:2) Last week, the Jerusalem municipality announced the final approval for a building project that will add over 2,500 homes to Jerusalem's Givat Hamatos neighborhood. Although the plan was announced last week, it was put into play about two years ago. The United States, France and Germany criticized the move, seeing the growth of the neighborhood as endangering the two-state peace process, and calling for a reversal of the decision. This sentiment, of course, aligns with a dramatic universal shift toward the insistence that Jerusalem be divided so that it becomes the capital of an Arab state and the capital of a Jewish state. U.S. State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said of the mixed Jewish-Arab neighborhood that its expansion would poison the atmosphere not only with the Palestinians, but also with the very Arab governments with which Prime Minister Netanyahu said he wanted to build relations. She also said that it called into question Israel’s ultimate commitment to a peaceful negotiated settlement with the Palestinians.” We condemn the Israeli authorities decision to build 2,610 homes in Givat Hamatos, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said in a statement. One cannot claim to support a solution and at the same time do things against without consequences being drawn, including at the European Union level, Fabius threatened. (JPost) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the condemnation, indicating that internationals had not learned the facts before responding. Do you think we might be facing the beginnings of a pandemic? There will certainly be Ebola patients from Africa who come to us in the hopes of receiving treatment. And they might even infect a few people here who may then die. But an outbreak in Europe or North America would quickly be brought under control. I am more worried about the many people from India who work in trade or industry in west Africa. It would only take one of them to become infected, travel to India to visit relatives during the virus's incubation period, and then, once he becomes sick, go to a public hospital there. Doctors and nurses in India, too, often don't wear protective gloves. They would immediately become infected and spread the virus.

In Latin the phonetic value of I- / J- corresponds to that of the English y, as in yes. We believe, during King James, even the English pronunciation of J was like the Latin I/J. I wonder if Jesus would be less popular in the US of A, were his name pronounced in accordance with the Latin, yeah-soos. IMO, that sounds quite a lot wussier than Jesus! * Mostly, the accent in Hebrew is on the last syllable. That word is, we think, a so called segolate noun, whose accent is on the syllaba paenultima!

As I saw the fifth Saturn return of Nokia (born 5/12/1865 in Tampere, Russia [sic!]) approaching, I wrote there's no chance for that before that Saturn return is totally over (the last accurate transit in October 2012). After that (2010) NOK shortly went up to about 11 euros, and started a downward trend that went on to June or July 2012, down to 1.33 euros, after which NOK started slowly going up to about 6 euros where it has been for quite a while now. If I'd believed my own prediction, I might be remarkalby wealthier now... LOL!
