[FairfieldLife] Re: A 5pm Weekday Group Meditation also for Fairfield No-badge-nik Meditators
FW: The IA assembly is an expression of group coherence based on Maharishi's programs to develop consciousness. Development of consciousness is such a delicate area, and this knowledge has been so corrupted and misinterpreted over the centuries, that it behooves us to follow Maharishi's instructions very carefully, else risk the knowledge being lost again. Not to mention, hurting ourselves in not receiving the full benefit of the program. The world today is pretty messed up. As far as I can see, we haven't yet exited from kaliyuga. Global society, and government in particular, still have a lot of room for improvement. The key to everything rests in restoring the experience of our true nature as human beings: pure, unbounded awareness. I certainly don't feel qualified to undertake such a massive responsibility. But Maharishi did, and what he accomplished over 50 years was phenomenal. We can't mess with what he set up. It's too delicate. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, wrote : We should close the downtown Fairfield, Iowa 5pm meditation? People might not be doing ™? Thx, Social Activism is great.need more Quakers to eventually help the hordes of homeless people populating our large and medium sized cities. But not great when it degenerates into political ideologues like many living in SF; or "Community Activists" who think they know what's best for people; when in fact they don't have a clue. .

Hi Friends We are going to continue with weekday meetings for silent meditation through the month of November… and beyond if there continues to be interest. At 51 North Court in Fairfield. For the rest of this month, with exception of Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, we will gather from 5 to 6pm weekdays. Please feel free to invite others to join us. Just let folks know that our request is that their time there be in silence… that all practices, faiths and teacher/lineages are welcome otherwise. No one is going to ask to see a Dome badge or check! -JaiGuruYou ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, wrote : Group meditation for meditators without current Dome badges continues on this eve of Election Day, 5pm at 51 N.
