The debris is far out in the South China Sea somewhere. It may take as long as a year for anything to wash up on shore. 13 March My bet is still on the aircraft's possible sudden, rapid depressurization theory. If the pilots failed to put on masks they could have blacked out from the lack of oxygen. So, this theory goes like this: the sudden decompression of the plane for unknown reasons, but it could have been from a crack in the fuselage; turning the plane to return to land with auto-pilot on; failure to don face masks; the flight continues for four hours; the plane runs out of fuel; and falls into the Indian Ocean. 21 March This scenario begins with the eruption of hazardous materials within the cargo hold – either improperly packaged or illegally shipped – or both. It is thought the missing plane climbed to 45,000ft - a move Mr Vincent believes may have resulted from the pilots not being able to see the controls properly.

Hey Judy, at this point, I think we have to give first place to Jim. After all, he did say that satellite data would be instrumental in finding the plane. Now evidently it was a little different than that technicalese that he offered up, but I'm giving that first place finish nonetheless. But, but, but, second place finish definitely goes to you, who stated there was some serious malfunction, lithium batteries I believe. I think your second place finish will hold no matter what. Judy, I don't believe a technical malfunction is likely. How can a malfunction shut off the transponder, make the plane climb to 45,000 feet and set the controls to head towards the Indian Ocean? IMO, the co-pilot killed the captain of the airplane. He made the plane climb to a very high altitude to kill the passengers. The entire plane then experienced decompression and loss of oxygen. [FairfieldLife] Re: Jet Vanishes
The idea is that the pilots changed the flight plan to head for the nearest airport when the malfunction took place (which was presumably what took out the transponder). It's not clear that they did climb to 45,000 feet, BTW. It turns out that radar can't gauge altitude that well. In fact, the latest is that they descended to about 12,000 feet. In any case, the theory would be that whatever the malfunction was, it disabled the pilots (e.g., toxic fumes from a fire), so the plane just continued on automatic pilot right over the airport they were heading for and out into the ocean until it ran out of fuel. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, jr_esq@... wrote : Judy, I don't believe a technical malfunction is likely. Well, actually, Feebs, he thought satellites would be able to see the plane in the air. Satellite data, on the other hand, as in identifying pings from the plane, we knew about pretty much from the beginning. And, um, they haven't found the plane yet and may never find it. All the satellite data has told us is that the plane was in a general area where there was no place to land for hundreds of miles when it would have run out of fuel, ending any hope that it might not have crashed in the ocean. It might be a good time to point out, Steve, that it was probably the Punditster that was the first person on FFL to propose a serious malfunction on the plane, a rapid decompression, and the storage of the lithium batteries on board. 12 March My bet is that the plane experienced a sudden decompression, the pilot tried to turn around to get back to Kuala Lumpur, but the pilots both blacked out because they failed to put on face masks in time.

I casted a prashna chart a few days ago asking the question, did the Malaysian plane crash? It took me a while to interpret the chart until I found the likely scenario about this mysterious case. The chart revealed that the plane crashed indeed. The likely culprit is the co-pilot, who appears on the surface to be a devout Muslim. However, he had dark side to his psyche, which included the belief that he could die for his religion in order to attain heaven and bliss. And it didn't matter if he took others to the grave with him. He was also an ambitious man who wanted to rise in his chosen field. He wanted to be the main pilot for the company he was working for. It appeared that in the past he had history of disagreeing with the main pilot he was working with during the previous flights. The reason for this was that he thought he was just as qualified as they were to command the airplane on his own terms. The chart further reveals that his ambition may have been threatened by the company's refusal to give him the opportunity to reach his goal of being the captain of the airplane. As such, he probably thought that his career was over and that his life was meaningless. Thus, the dark side of his psyche took over. On this last flight, he already planned that he was going to commit suicide and take everyone else with him in vengeance against the company. So, after about 40 minutes from take-off, he killed the main pilot and took control of the airplane. He then reported to base saying that everything was all right. Good night. He changed course and made the plane climb to a very high altitude in order to kill the rest of the passengers. Then he set the automatic controls to take over and head for a meaningless direction towards the Indian Ocean until the plane ran out of fuel and crashed. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, punditster@... wrote : This scenario begins with the eruption of hazardous materials within the cargo hold – either improperly packaged or illegally shipped – or both. Michael, The prashna chart shows me the circumstances of the flight. It also shows the motivations of the various players in the flight, including the pilot and the passengers. One has to analyze these factors to see how this horrendous event could happen. RE: [FairfieldLife] Re: Jet Vanishes
Why would going to 45,000 feet kill the passengers? Wouldn’t the plane still be pressurized and have oxygen? And if insufficient Oxygen, wouldn’t the masks drop down? And if it did kill the passengers, wouldn’t it also kill the pilots?

RE: [FairfieldLife] Re: Jet Vanishes
Rick, A former pilot stated in the news that this maneuver can kill the passengers in a few minutes. Perhaps, its possible for the pilot to depressurize the passenger cabin and not the pilot cabin. And, it could also be possible to turn off the oxygen that are normally available coming from the masks. I am assuming this happened since the investigators don't have any evidence that any of the passengers attempted to call anyone through their cells phones, nor any struggle to take control over the plane by the passengers or the attendant crew.
Re: [FairfieldLife] Re: Jet Vanishes
MJ, Prashna charts are done when a person wants to know the answer to a specific question that is applicable to his or her life at the present time. The jyotishi can use this chart along with the standard birth chart and the progression chart for that year to determine the answer. But the usual questions for the prashna are to find out where a lost item can be found. Typically, the question to be asked should be framed in a way so that the answer can be a yes or a no. In the example of the missing plane, I went into more details in making the interpretaion that is normally given in a prashna reading. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, mjackson74@... wrote : Is this generally done by itself or is it done in conjunction with one's birth chart and/or the progression chart for that year? There is nothing. My bet is still on the aircraft's possible sudden, rapid depressurization theory. In this scenario, all the passengers and the pilots would be long dead before the actual crash, since no cell phone calls came from any of the passengers. This would also account for calls being made to some of the passengers by their relatives - the phones were still connected but no answer was heard. Go figure. Most experts now (from what I've been reading) seem to be pretty sure the transponder was turned off deliberately. By whom, of course, is the question. But there seems to be fairly solid evidence emerging that the plane was functioning normally for a good four hours after the transponder signal was lost--its engines are designed to report on their status every half-hour (I think) to a ground (I think) station. That doesn't give any information as to where the plane is or what direction it's headed, but supposedly if those signals are being sent, it means the plane is still flying. What that all adds up to is anybody's guess, but it would seem to rule out loss of power or explosive decompression. Re: [FairfieldLife] RE: Jet Vanishes
The Wall St. Journal reporter who broke the story on the engine communications has an explanation for the Malaysian officials' denial. You'll have to listen to the story--it's about 6 minutes--to hear exactly what he says, but basically it's that the denial was very narrow and doesn't exhaust the possibilities: http://hereandnow.wbur.org/2014/03/13/malaysia-plane-pasztor http://hereandnow.wbur.org/2014/03/13/malaysia-plane-pasztor All this stuff is so technical it's almost impossible for the layperson to get a handle on it. I also read an article, stating that Malaysian airlines had declined to participate in the voluntary engine info program, that you mention. I don't know if that means they just don't get a performance report, or something more. What a mystery. Reminds me of Payne Stewart's crash - loss of oxygen, dead pilots and passengers, flew 'til empty. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, authfriend@... wrote : Most experts now (from what I've been reading) seem to be pretty sure the transponder was turned off deliberately. I am geeky enough to look that up -- Looks like a power interruption to the transponder itself, would do it. Also, if Richard's theory holds, lack of oxygen can get people doing odd things, including manually turning off the transponder. In other words, no clue. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, authfriend@... wrote : Why did the transponder stop transmitting? My bet is still on the aircraft's possible sudden, rapid depressurization theory. In this scenario, all the passengers and the pilots would be long dead before the actual crash, since no cell phone calls came from any of the passengers. This would also account for calls being made to some of the passengers by their relatives - the phones were still connected but no answer was heard. Go figure. ‘There Is Nothing’: Malaysian Authorities Do Not Find Missing Plane Where Chinese Satellite Images Showed Possible Debris CBS News DC: http://washington.cbslocal.com/there-is-nothing-malaysian/plane/possible-debris/ http://washington.cbslocal.com/2014/03/13/there-is-nothing-malaysian-authorities-do-not-find-missing-plane-where-chinese-satellite-images-showed-possible-debris/

I notice that the pilot Shah was described as an aviation geek. Shah had a Boeing 77 simulator at his home(!) in Kuala Lumpur. “We used to tease him. We would ask him, why are you bringing your work home,” said a friend. Shah also collected remote-controlled, miniature aircraft! That suggests to me the guy is a total loon. He lived for his passion - flying. Maybe he wanted to die engaged in his passion also?
[FairfieldLife] Re: Jet Vanishes
My wife is on record saying that the plane landed in Pakistan or North Korea. It was commandeered by terrorists, the passengers gassed, and this is the new terrorism threat. I am leaning towards pilot suicide, and that a break will come from examining phone records of passengers, where they will discover attempted calls (or e-mails) around the same time from some of those on the plane. When people suspect trouble, they do reactivate their electronic devices. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, s3raphita@... wrote : I notice that the pilot Shah was described as an aviation geek. Re: [FairfieldLife] RE: Jet Vanishes
Balotelli, not Bartoli. According to AP, the official mentioned Balotelli not as one of the passengers with the stolen passports, but rather as a way of conveying to a reporter that one of the guys with the stolen passports was black, like Balotelli. You said, If the investigation fails, blame a guy named Mario Bartoli, who happens to be black, Italian and a soccer player. What does if the investigation fails mean?
