Re: [FairfieldLife] Siddha Medicine , Navapashanam Healing
I like to tell myself I'm meditating when I'm swimming...breath in, breath out for 20-30 minuteseverything else falls away as the focus in water is making sure one can breathe. It does leave me in a deeply relaxed place...but I figure those are the endorphins kicking in :) From: Sal Sunshine salsunsh...@lisco.com To: FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com Sent: Monday, October 31, 2011 3:05 PM Subject: Re: [FairfieldLife] Siddha Medicine , Navapashanam Healing On Oct 31, 2011, at 2:26 PM, Denise Evans wrote: I still fail to understand what is it about TM that is so special that it cannot be divulged without payment. snip A word of warning: Many studies (the movement has tried to suppress) have found that approximately 40% of the people who practice TM develop adverse effects. This was in the link you sent..tee hee...this is too high a percentage to mess with and I am NOT going to chant a hindu seed mantra which is what the one for my age group is. It is also one of the words in the mantra I received from Amma. I'm letting it goI won't pick up the TM topic again. Other methods resonate better. Heart only feels whereas intellect tries to analyze it. So if you feel good and your intellect says endorphins - there's no dichotomy. You can enjoy both. Usually people try to deny or suppress - no need to. The color of these beads would seem to indicate that they contain either cinnabar or an manmade amalgam of mercuric sulfide, is that correct? Has the FDA had an opportunity to evaluate these?
