I am not completely sure Perhaps Okular can add annotation, but I don't know if it is the same as a pdf annotation or if the other person needs to have also Okular: http://okular.kde.org/faq.php#HowcanIannotateadocumentandsendittoafriendcollegueetc Also pdfedit has a function: createAnnotation([ 444.897, 476.853, 548.9522, 486.988 ], 'Widget'); I've tried several times and I was not able to add any annotations with it. henrique -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@redhat.com To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines

pdf editor to simply insert notes?
a colleague has a sizable book whose source is in docbook format, and i want to mark it up with notes all over the place. with an odt or doc file, i would of course just open it in oowriter and insert notes at will. with docbook, though, he's going to send me the PDF format of the book, but i still don't know of a tool that will let me insert notes. i have no need for general editing, just notes. thoughts? rday Robert P. At least I believe that is the name. It will be close if it isn't. One of the things it specifically does is annotate pdf files.
