Please do not reply directly to this email. All additional comments should be made in the comments box of this bug report. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=192583 Summary: Review Request: php-pear-XML-Parser - XML parsing class based on PHP's bundled expat Product: Fedora Extras Version: devel Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: normal Component: Package Review AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] QAContact: fedora-package-review@redhat.com Spec URL: http://remi.collet.free.fr/rpms/extras/php-pear-XML-Parser.spec SRPM URL: http://remi.collet.free.fr/rpms/extras/php-pear-XML-Parser-1.2.7-1.fc5.src.rpm Description: http://remi.collet.free.fr/rpms/extras/php-pear-XML-Parser-build.log This is an XML parser based on PHPs built-in xml extension. It supports two basic modes of operation: func and event. In func mode, it will look for a function named after each element (xmltag_ELEMENT for start tags and xmltag_ELEMENT_ for end tags), and in event mode it uses a set of generic callbacks. Since version 1.2.0 there's a new XML_Parser_Simple class that makes parsing of most XML documents easier, by automatically providing a stack for the elements. Furthermore its now possible to split the parser from the handler object, so you do not have to extend XML_Parser anymore in order to parse a document with it. With DB, HTTP (Bug #190156), Mail (Bug #190066), Net_Socket (Bug #190957), Net_SMTP (Bug #190958), extras will provides all the extensions which was provides by php until version 5.0.4 (in FC4). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. ___ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@redhat.com http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review

According to the README, the header is LGPL, and jack-dssi-host is BSD-style. COPYING is included for the header, but everything else seems to have the license in the source code. jack-dssi-host contains: /* * Copyright 2004 Chris Cannam, Steve Harris and Sean Bolton. * * Permission to use, copy, modify, distribute, and sell this software * for any purpose is hereby granted without fee, provided that the * above copyright notice and this permission notice are included in * all copies or substantial portions of the software. */ Does this count as BSD? Everything in the examples directory has something to the effect of This example file is in the public domain. Note that dssi_osc_send and dssi_osc_update are in the main package, which otherwise seems like the right place to me. So, my guess is dssi-devel should be License: LGPL, dssi-examples should be License: Public Domain, and the main package License: BSD/Public Domain however mock complains about that one. Maybe it can just be Distributable. [Bug 191582] Review Request: xgalaga - Galaga clone for X11

Summary: Review Request: xgalaga - Galaga clone for X11 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=191582 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-05-21 19:32 EST --- * rpmlint output clean * Package meets Package Naming Guidelines * Spec filename matches base package %{name} * Package meets Packaging Guidelines * Package licensed with open source compatible license * License in spec matches actual license * License text included in %doc * Spec file written in American English * Spec file is legible * Sources match upstream 9f7ee685e9c4741b5f0edc3f91df9510 xgalaga_2.0.34.orig.tar.gz 9f7ee685e9c4741b5f0edc3f91df9510 xgalaga_2.0.34.orig.tar.gz * Package successfully compiles and builds on FC5 x86_64 O Package has all BR except libXxf86vm-devel which I needed to add for it to compile * Package does not have any locales * Package does not contain any shared library files * Package is not relocatable * Package owns all directories it creates * Package does not contain any duplicate files in %files * File permissions are set properly * Package contains proper %clean section * Macro usage consistant enough - I notice you use %{__sed}, but don't bother using %{__make} or %{__rm} etc.. * Package contains permissble content * Package does not contain large documentation to warrent a seperate package * Package does not contain header files, libraries or .pc files * Package does not contain any .so files * Package does not require or use a -devel package * Package does not contain any .la files * Package adds an appropriate .desktop entry * Package does not own any files or directories owned by other packages *** MUST *** - You MUST figure out why FC5 needs to add a BuildRequires of libXxf86vm-devel and why this is not needed for your build (presumably FC6) Non-blocking SHOULDs: - Be more consistant with macro usage, for example %{__sed}, but no %{__rm} etc. - I also prefer %{buildroot} instead of $RPM_BUILD_ROOT, but that is a matter of preference. I just think spec files look cleaner when everything consistantly uses %{} format. So basically I'm saying you should use a clean more legible consistant style in your spec files, but I'm not going to say this is a blocker or should be fixed, just a suggestion. - Let me know that the name xgalaga isn't going to be a problem with Namco. I've heard the Lgames are not allowed because the names are too close to the original, is this going to be a problem? - Return the favor by reviewing some of my packages ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. ___ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@redhat.com http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review

Summary: Review Request: blam https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=187621 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-05-21 21:03 EST --- (In reply to comment #3) Eeek! Why also the .so files? These are plugin DSOs in %_libdir/blam/ which are local to this application. Oops. Silly me, that isn't a devel file. http://fedorared.org/~john/review/blam-1.8.2-4.src.rpm This version incorporates reenables %find_lang, but it doesn't work, no translations found. Sindre, you're still maintainer when this gets through, srpms are just easy to distribute. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. ___ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@redhat.com http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
