As far as I know, the only thing that can help is to turn off automatic music
spacing and auto update layout (and introduce other potential problems), but
there's no way to lock spacing

In this huge score I'm trying to finish up that has pages of text in
between 40 different songs, too often, when I have to move pages around, I
lose the independent spacing I have done on those staves. Is there a
plug-in or something to help me keep these staves spaced correctly? Finale

I unplugged and then replugged the MIDI interface, and that seemed to do the

[Finale] portable piano

2016-07-16 Thread Madelon Mottet
I use a
Roll Up Electronic Flexible Folding Keyboard Piano Soft 49 Keys

I
bought it from China (with free international shipping) through ebay.

I bought a full size 88 key keyboard, but wish I had bought a smaller,
lighter one with fewer keys.

When this happens to me, I go to Mid/Audio menu>Device Setup>Midi/Internal
Speaker setup… to see that the controller is recognized. Usually it is and
going through this step re-establishes the midi controller.

Hope this helps.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

With mine you have to drop the System_7.5.3 file on the smiling Mac. When
MM released it in 2009 this was not necessary, but now (at least for me) it
is.
