Re: [Finale] Mid-measure double carline?

Split the 4/4 bar into two 2/4 measures. Use the measure attributes tool to
hide the time signatures.

You’ll have to adjust your measure numbers if you don’t tell one of the
split measures to not be included in the measure numbering system.

If you delete the Score token in the score (score or full score) the part
name will not show. You can simply add it back using the text tool and then
in the menu go to insert part name.

The Mac version used to show missing fonts as italicized and grayed out of
it was used by finale but no longer available on the machine. How you get
to see this is by editing the font of one of the missing items and see what
font it takes you to.

Re: [Finale] Fin Mac 12 Creating symbol in empty measure

Click the staff tool.

Now click on the measure you want to put the repeat sign in to highlight
it.

Once it is highlighted just type the letter O to insert the symbol. This is
the keyboard shortcut for going to the staff tools menu and navigating to
the repeat staff style.

Staff style. Select the staff tool, highlight the measure and type the
letter O on your keyboard for a 1 measure repeat. Type the letter T for a
two measure repeat sign.
