Hi Martin, I’m on Mac. Windows plugins need to go somewhere different than on Mac, so I don’t know how for you. Sorry. Jari should have installation instructions on his website though. Re: [Finale] Chord changes
That depends on how they were moved. If they were manually nudged or dragged, this is easy to clear (so this is the only method I use now). You can go to the edit menu and choose Change and Chords and the default is Add to default position, so you press okay and you're done. Or you can drag around the handles or hit cmd A to select all while in the chord tool and then hit Clear or right click and choose clears manual positioning. If they were altered on a system by system basis using the arrows, this is hard. There is no easy way to zero al the arrows, so I create a new staff and copy the contents to it, then delete the old staff. If you need to keep the page layout, use JW Copy part layout before you delete the old staff. [Finale] chord changes playback
I don't want Finale (2008 Mac) to play chord changes in the score I'm editing, so I changed the chord assignments accordingly in UtilitiesChangeChords... However, every time I place a new chord in the score Finale plays it back, so I keep going over and over to the change chord assignment window to fix it. What do I need to do so new chords won't play? Thank you. Harold ___ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
Re: [Finale] chord changes playback
In the Chord menu, uncheck Enable Chord Playback. Then no chord will playback ever in the piece. You can disable chord playback staff by staff as well, using the Instrument List window. Click the triangle next to the staff you want to silence, and mute the Chords item.
