[Flightgear-devel] LWCE NYC
I just started the ball rolling for this years winter LWCE booth. Is anybody planning on attending the show, and if so, can they contribute time and/or hardware? Contact me off the list ___ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel

Had been planning to do about half of one day, as in the last 2 years. Checked the bus schedule, and it looks practical to make it a full day. Could also make it a second day from appearances now, and if it would really help. Friday is not an option for me, however. Of possible relevance, does anyone have an idea for FlightGear might perform on a laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon chip and 32MB DDR video memory? There is a small chance I might be able to carry said laptop with me on days I am there. Totally irrelevant, has anyone noticed an odd temperature on ATIS at KSFO, or is my system doing it uniquely? -- Bill Earnest wde3@ptd-dot-net Linux Powered Allentown, PA, USA Computers, like air conditioners, work poorly with Windows open. ___ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel

I haven't received any 'official' confirmation for our booth application, but I just checked here: http://www.linuxworldexpo.com/linuxworldexpo/v31/index.cvn?ID=10031p_navid=2 They now have FlightGear listed in the .Org pavilion so it looks like we are past the point of no return. :-) Thanks to all the people that have indicated they can come and help. I'm sure we could use another warm body or two now and then to help at the booth ... or if you are attending the show, at least stop by and say hi. :-) Curt. -- Curtis Olson IVLab / HumanFIRST Program FlightGear Project Twin Cities[EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Minnesota http://www.menet.umn.edu/~curt http://www.flightgear.org ___ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel

Don't suppose you could enlighten me on the RH/Mesa bug? I've been through the FAQ, but didn't see an answer. I'm getting bit by it now. I'm getting a lot of positive responses in the booth to the current feature set. The pilots in the bunch are well pleased with JSBsim. That's a relief [ said Jon, not quite able to hide the slight surprise in his voice]. Any particular comments made? I would suspect perhaps a comment on gyroscopic effects and P-Factor? Just dropping a status report. Finally got a network drop! The .orgs at at the back of the hall this year, but the booth layout is less claustrophobic. I'll bring a camera tomorrow and post some pix. [Flightgear-devel] LWCE Booth assignment
I just received our booth assignment for LWCE '02. Booth # 10 between the etherboot project and FSF which, I beleive, is where we were slotted last time. FWIW the .org pavillion seems to have moved to the back wall, as opposed to being in the center of things. Last years org pavillion location is now the email garden. I have a feeling there are less exhibitors this time around, which should work to our advantage as far as getting press.
