This is what is killing performance out of Burbank for Melchior. It is also (I believe) what is triggering the DList messages out of plib. Guilty as charged - that was me. It was experimental and meant to be removed before the release, but 0.7.10 came out before I even noticed! Since I haven't got time to finish that bit of code (make it fly circuits) at the moment it might as well be ripped out - I'll send a patch. Hopefully I should eventually be able to rewrite it using David M's 3D model interface without the problems it has now. Aha-- that would make sense, if there's a whole lot of extra models. I'll go to that airport tonight and see if those puppies are all there. Why are they there? Can we get rid of them? Are there other airports with similar traps? No, other than too much texture usage for some older cards (KFSO hammers one of the machines at work).
