[Flightgear-devel] Shutting server down for maintenance
It should be back up in a day or two. I need to configure some things on the box itself. [Flightgear-devel] Server was down, now back up
Apologies. I updated to version 10.6 of fgms and had a few issues getting mpserver02 back online. It's running now, however, and tracking. - sabin -- Create and publish websites with WebMatrix Use the most popular FREE web apps or write code yourself; WebMatrix provides all the features you need to develop and publish your website. http://p.sf.net/sfu/ms-webmatrix-sf ___ Flightgear-devel mailing list Flightgear-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
Re: [Flightgear-devel] mpserver dns changes???
Sorry everyone: I didn't see this until just now. I agree to take over the 02 slot -- or any other -- as needed. I'm okay with the proposed DNS change. - sabin Quoting Citronnier - Alexis Bory alexis.b...@gmail.com: Csaba Halász a écrit : On Mon, Oct 11, 2010 at 5:46 PM, Curtis Olson curtol...@gmail.com wrote: Hi Csaba (or anyone else), I'm just bumping this back up to the top of everyone's inbox in hopes that someone will respond and let me know what specific dns changes should be made. This is where I left the conversation back in may and no one got back to me. I don't have my finger on the pulse of the mpserver admin community on a daily basis so I don't know specifically what needs to be changed unless someone specifically tells me. The change would be: assign mpserver02.flightgear.org to ip address 74.208.230.119. I believe Alexis has sent an email to Sabin to check if he is still agreeing to take over 02's slot. (He did agree to it back in may.) Don't know if we got any reply yet. No response from Sabin ATM. Alexis -- Beautiful is writing same markup. That's the default page at the root of the the server I run and it shows up if the URL-to-IP Address isn't correct or if someone tries to get to the server with just the IP address. Re: [Flightgear-devel] mpserver dns changes???
I also don't mind installing FGMap on my server and setting it up to load properly if we wanted to keep things consistent. Let me know, - sabin Quoting fiers...@zonnet.nl: Sounds like you could change mpmap02 to the IP address that was set for mpserver02 before. This effectively changes mpmap02 back to what it was and leaves mpserver02 to the new IP address. m Op 12-10-10 17:34, Curtis Olson schreef: On Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 10:29 AM, wrote: That's the default page at the root of the the server I run and it shows up if the URL-to-IP Address isn't correct or if someone tries to get to the server with just the IP address. Ok, I see that mpmap02 is pointing to mpserver02, (so even though I didn't touch the mpmap02 record, I did effectively change it by changing mpserver02) so ideally there would be a google map server sitting there. But we could always point the mpmap02 record to another machine if that works better.
