It is one of the only planes that does not crash you if you accidently raise the gear on the ground. It is pretty disappointing to set everything up for a flight and then hit the gear button on the joystick instead of flaps. - SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. Something along the lines of having to press the gear down control a second time, once the gear is down... different aircraft will have different types of "lock" and would probably need some kind of customisation anyway. We should really keep to a minimum the number of controls requiring separate bindings - this way, nobody even needs to change their keyboard or joystick bindings (assuming they correctly use the controls.nas wrappers in the first place ;-) Cheers, AJ - SF.Net email is sponsored by: The Future of Linux Business White Paper from Novell. [Flightgear-devel] landing gear control
Ok I have another one Can we add a /controls/gear/gear-lever-lock to prevent accidental raising gear while on the ground , on aircraft that have this feature ? The key bindings can be over ridden , but there's also joystick configurations to consider , so the best place to add this would be the controls.nas routine itself... It could simply be added as a bool in the set file of any aircraft that needs it ...
