[Flightgear-users] Error on ./configure (FDM/SP/Maikefile.in)

2004-11-06 Thread Adam Cripps
Been a while since I last compiled from CVS on my debian unstable system.

Getting this error on ./configure:
config.status: error: cannot find input file: src/FDM/SP/Makefile.in

Any ideas of how to get round this?

TIA
Adam

It looks like you forgot to do ./autogen.sh first.

[Flightgear-users] ILS-DME

2004-11-06 Thread DesmoSS

I am getting a NAV flag on my #1 VOR and no identifier when tuning an ILS
or LOC on some airfields. ( KVJI, 108.3 or KSFQ, 111.5 for ex.) Others
seem fine... any ideas?

Passaic River Visual (was Re: [Flightgear-users] Interesting Flight -- Juneau Inter'l)

If you like IFR practice, you could do worse than monitor

I keep finding myself spending too much time there and unsubscribing
again -- it is an unquestionably useful newsgroup, though, probably
the best of all the rec.aviation.* hierarchy.

Two very interesting (and unusual) approaches are the visual
approaches into Teterboro (KTEB); here's the Passaic River visual:

Unfortunately, we don't have Giant Stadium and the other buildings
modelled, but the roads and rivers in FlightGear provide enough detail
to fly the approach. Try it at weather minima, and see if you can
find the runway before you hit the Hudson River.

I haven't flown this one in real life yet, but I'll be flying right
seat in a Beech Baron into Teterboro next month on a Hope Air flight,
and it is one of the possibilities.

All the best,

David
