[fossil-users] Show entire file in diff UI

2014-04-02 Thread Andy Goth
For unified and side-by-side diffs, I'd like the option to show the
entire file in addition to the current behavior of showing only a
limited context surrounding the changes. This can be exposed in the
same way as the whitespace option.

Maybe I misunderstand your intention, but while viewing this:

http://www.fossil-scm.org/index.html/fdiff?v1=ff3ce7fdb65c5501v2=f897c6fc3888f9easbs=1

There are two headers:

Differences From Artifact [ff3ce7fdb65c5501]:

To Artifact [f897c6fc3888f9ea]:

Both of these can be clicked on to show the entire file prior and after
the change. Is this what you are after?

Thanks,

Andy

I want to see the two complete files simultaneously, with differences
between the two highlighted as in the current diff displays.

On the command line I approximate this with [diff -U], and in Vim
(diff mode) I get this with zR (zM folds changes again).
