[FOSSology] Session time out
Fossology logs me out after a few minutes. Is there a way to configure it so it doesn¹t time out and just leaves me logged in? Dave ___ fossology mailing list fossology@fossology.org http://fossology.org/mailman/listinfo/fossology
Re: [FOSSology] Session time out
Hi Dave, How about if I remove the time out check?I don't think that level of security is really needed for fossology. Does anyone reading this have an opinion on the time out? I'd like to hear from other users as well. In the mean time, do you want me to send you a version without the timeout? If so, let's take this offline. Hi Drago, For the way you use fossology, would you prefer removing it or making it configurable? Re: [FOSSology] Session time out
Bob, The way we use fossology, removing timeout would we just fine. That said, I can see how someone with tighter requirements for controlling access to the scan results would prefer configurable timeout. The best of the two worlds might be to make it configurable, and make infinite timeout be the default configuration. But again, for my organization's use, removing timeout would be just fine. -Drago On Thu, Feb 17, 2011 at 1:24 PM, Bob Gobeille bob.gobei...@hp.com wrote: Hi Drago, For the way you use fossology, would you prefer removing it or making it configurable? Re: [FOSSology] Help Deciphering Report
Hi SpottedOtter, It looks like the downloaded file was not unpacked. Did you see any errors in the log file (/var/log/fossology/fossology.log) indicating problems with unpack? I will try it on a 1.3.0 system (from http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/nagios/nagios-3.2.3.tar.gz) and see if I can duplicate your results. Re: [FOSSology] Help Deciphering Report
Hello again, I was able to download, unpack and analyze nagios-3.2.3.tar.gz on 3 systems (2 are running FO 1.3.0 and the other is a test system running ToT). They all had the same successful result. Which filetype does your FOSSology attribute to nagios-3.2.3.tar.gz? (Use the Info micromenu.) You should see something like Meta Data Item Meta Data Value 1 Unpacked file type application/x-gzip From: fossology-boun...@fossology.org [mailto:fossology-boun...@fossology.org] On Behalf Of Laser, Mary Sent: Thursday, February 17, 2011 1:17 PM To: valerie duncan; fossology@fossology.org Subject: Re: [FOSSology] Help Deciphering Report Hi SpottedOtter, It looks like the downloaded file was not unpacked.
