Re: [Framers] Issue with HTML Responsive help made from FrameMaker 2015 possibly as a result of upgrade of internal volumes "Adobe"

2017-01-09 Thread Robert Lauriston
I thought that would be it. I prefer to check a .zip file into the build system.

Im sorry if this question seems newbie-ish but I can't find any info anywhere
else. I recently upgraded from FM10 to FM 2015 and apparently there is no
longer a "table formatting" toolbar under window>toolbars. I used this quite
often. Is it really gone?

Ha! Roman thank you so much! I'll never understand why software GUI developers
move stuff around like this. In this instance, to have TWO locations for
toolbars? And have them show different options? Anyway thanks again for
providing the info Google was unable to :-)

Re: [Framers] Issue with HTML Responsive help made from FrameMaker 2015 possibly as a result of upgrade of internal volumes "Adobe"

2017-01-09 Thread Caroline Tabach
We solved this:

Between Frame 2015 patches, the resulting folder structure of the Responsive
HTML help changed.

R were taking my files and copying them to the system on top of the previous
file set.

Since the folder structure was different and different files were created, this
caused a mess and made the help not work (it was indeed merging the file set).

The solution for us was to erase the existing help , before copying a new help
file to the system

The symptoms are consistent with a bad merge.

I'd do a DIR /S > of the standalone help and the version in the
application and then run COMP on the two files.
