Re: [Framers] FrameMaker install without Distiller?
I ran the install with admin rights. Clicking FrameMaker to customize the installation shows FrameMaker and then Distiller as a subcomponent, each with selected checkboxes. If I deselect Distiller, FrameMaker gets deselected also. If I select FrameMaker, Distiller is reselected. I already have Acrobat Pro on the computer and I need it for my job, so I am less than happy with the installation behaviour. I've also never seen the installer act like that before, and I've been working with Frame since 5.5.2. I actually haven't installed it yet, since I'll need our IT company to reinstall Acrobat Pro immediately and that will now not be happening until Monday. Well, I never had problems to deselect the Distiller plugin, this sounds strange. Do you have all the necessary admin rights? It is not advisable to install the Distiller plugin together with an existing regular Acrobat, which will be efficiently removed or deactivated -- very annoying esp. when further plugins are installed with it (like PitStop etc.). Unless you want to mess with the innards, it's easiest and best just to install FM with the defaults. You're more likely to F* up something trying to second guess the installer and not install the Distiller than you are following the KISS principle. If Acrobat is set as your default printer, as it should be, it will be used. Just get in the habit of using the Print command. Art Campbell art.campb...@gmail.com "... Re: [Framers] SPAM -> Re: Expand all element boudaries (as tags) in EDD?
The Shift+Click should expand/collapse all sibling elements. If you need more control check out the tools that Russ Ward has at http://www.weststreetconsulting.com/WSC_StructureTools.htm which includes additional support for the click/right-click in the Structure View. I believe it includes an "expand by 1, 2, 3 or all levels" option.
