FM7 and Zapf Dingbats: Solved
I've fixed the issue. The solution has been writing the character needed in the FM document with the desired font, copy it and pasting in the Autonumber field of the Paragraph format window. Thank you all for the suggestions and informations. Davide Piva ___ You are currently subscribed to framers as arch...@mail-archive.com. Send list messages to framers@lists.frameusers.com. FM7 and Zapf Dingbats
Hello Framers. I'm having problems with FM 7.2 on WXP Pro and Zapf Dingbats font. I'm building a serie of bulleted lists and I want to use the arrow and other symbols. After I paste the character in the Autonumber format field and update the paragraph format, a different Zapf symbol appears in place of the one I choosen. I tried to paste the same character into a LibreOffice Writer new document and the symbol doesn't appear at all (a Ü character appears instead). The Zap Dingbats font installed is an OTF and I previously had a PFM version of it, experiencing the same issue. Does anyone have an idea to solve the problem? W7 Pro is installed over an Oracle Virtual Box virtual machine running on W7 Pro; I don't guess this is a problem. Thanks in advance for your help. Alison, in my opinion, if your system actually works well, consider to avoid the upgrade. Otherwise, if you'll get considerable improvements from a new version of the software, then upgrade. My experience (more then 25 years using and matching hw and sw) tells me that every time you install a new software you get new problems so, simply evaluate the estimated time to solve problems, vs the advantages to your work in terms of productivity and time savings. Looking for a structured FM consultant in Italy
I'm trying to learn the way to structure documents with FM, since the 7.1 release but I haven't the time and basis to do this. I'm looking for a consultant in Italy for a help. Please, let me know if there's anybody out there. Davide Piva davide.piva at gmail.com 368-3585350
