You are on the right track -- the options location changed with Distiller 8; FM 7 still looks in the old location. However, you're just running into a normal ownership problem -- the files or directories are probably owned by different users. If you can't find an Admin with root privs, you may also be able to move it if you boot into protected mode -- just depends on what your Windows settings are.
