[Frameworks] film stuff for sale

Hi All,

Posting for a friend who inherited large quantities of film and film
equipment. He's not an expert so I've been trying to help him figure out
what's what. He has a special 19% off covid sale on all items for another
few days. There are notes and pictures in the catalogue you can check out
at the website and if there is anything there that you have questions
about, I can potentially go check it out in person for you. He is open to
reasonable offers on things and I can probably help with valuation if
something is way off. I think eventually what doesn't sell here will end up
on ebay at higher prices. It not my stuff but I would like to see the gear
go to people who will use it.

[Frameworks] Le Joli Maysles series Work Songs digitally streaming

Dear All,

I'm thrilled to announce the digital premiere of my 2019 feature
documentary *Work Songs* (showing with my 2000 short *Happy?*) streaming
May 8-31 at the stupendous Maysles Documentary Center*. *These films are
streaming as part of the month long series *Le Joli Maysles*, celebrating
the lovely month of May with films in conversation with the seminal 1963
film Le Joli Mai by Chris Marker.  Join me with some of the other
filmmakers for a Zoom q and a session on Saturday May 23 at 4 PM.  Info on

Through interviews and observational footage *Work Songs* explores how
various workers find meaning in their jobs.  The gig economy,
automatisation and the decreasing power of unions are explored in planned
and spontaneous interviews, leavened by finely observed evocations of work
places.

Dear Fracto Friends,

After the success of our recent Bruce Baillie-Chick Strand digital screening, 
we decided to delve deeper into the work of Strand and screen her feature Soft 
Fiction (1979) in full HD, alongside A Preponderance of Evidence (1999) by 
Sandra Davis, presented in a new 2K scan.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to recoup the costs of renting the
