Wireless but no WPA

2005-11-17 Thread gustaaf wijnands

Hello!

For over two years I have been enjoying the sweet fruits of Freebsd.
Now, I ran into a problem. I am trying to set up a wireless connection
from my notebook to my ap. Unencrypted it works well. It just doesn't
work with WPA-PSK. I searched al over the www, but ran out of options
what went wrong.

Well, can anybody help me out? Thanks!

Gustaaf

Quite broken! I've reinstalled it by adding in ALL of the options, just to
make sure nothing got missed, and besides perhaps deinstalling all of the
KDE packages and starting again.
What happens is, upon loading of KDE from KDM, just after Initializing

I see no errors in /var/log/messages or /var/log/Xorg.0.log or any other
logs I cared to look at.
I moved my ~/.kderc and ~/.kde directories elsewhere to clean out my

Anyone got any suggestions as to what I might try to resolve this problem?

I have been trying to install jdk14 on a machine with freebsd
5.2.1-release, but it just doesn't work. While compiling it gives this error

I did a deinstall and make install in /usr/ports/java/linux-sun-jdk14/

kde 3.2 - autologin - authentication fails

2004-04-15 Thread Gustaaf Wijnands
Hello,

After upgrading to kde 3.2 everything runs smoothly, except kdm.
Autologin doesn't work any longer. Several times I changed the settings
in the control center. I also removed all files from
/usr/local/share/config/kdm and put back the files which can be found in
usr/local/share/config/kdm/default to no avail.

I happen to run 4.9-p2

Does anybody have a clue what can be done about this?
