Re: Is MegaCameras.com still in business?

2006-01-25 Thread onlineguyver (sent by Nabble.com)

Well I made a purchace two weeks ago for a Nikon 8800 and I received it about 5
days later. I contacting by email and someone by the name of Trevor Malice
responded and assured me that the product was on the was on the way. 3 days
later I receive the product and everything looks excellent. I guess they are in
business. Everything looks good to me. Thinking about getting a family member a
camera also as they have a large variety in stock.

This has been a fairly regular problem with online camera shops, many of
which are located somewhere in New York (particularly down in the Bronx).

Check out a recent /. thread for more info. There are a LOT of comments
about several different experiences, and some useful links.

Hey, at least they didn't threaten to come kick your ass or ruin your
credit - or both.

Good luck

2005-12-21 Thread Ted Mittelstaedt

You need to call your credit card company immediately and
ask specifically for the fraud department and have them
reverse the charges. Do not dick around - this company
has almost certainly had dozens of other chargebacks by now.
