Right John, I follow your instructions and it's OK. Thank you very much!! You have the umass device enabled which, as it says, requires scbus and da. Either remark the umass line or unremark the scbus and da lines in the SCSI peripherals section. You should be using a kernel override config file thingy (I don't know it's real name). check out the SMP kernel config file for an example.
