Hi Gary.

Your username is kline and the system's name is also kline? Which 
would make you [EMAIL PROTECTED] Perhaps the system doesn't like this kind of 
thing. Is it possible that kline is some sort of reserved word (eg. 
k-line)?


Does it still fail if you change to another user, perhaps garyk?

are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have

I have fixed all of the possibilities with the exception of the 
TCP/IP ORBit networking. I have set up root entirely well; 
orev'ly there was nothing on the title/menu bar.  But I keep
getting bounced out of kline whenI try to login as myself.

Clues, people?? I'm plumb out of ideas.
