Re: remove all xfce4

portupgrade -faRr, or portmanager. Try cd
 /usr/ports/x11-wm/xfce4
make all-depends-list. You don't need to rebuild
 unless you have
 upgraded a dependancy(then portupgrade or
 portmanager will do it for
you) or you want to change build options(then
 portupgrade will do it).

yeah, so my problem is that after upgrading
gnome-related stuff with gnome_upgrade.sh, my xfce4
stop to work, though they are also re-compiled during
the process. So i think I will do it myself, just
don't know which one is the most painless... :-)

mmm.
what should I do if I have done pkg_delete *xfce* ? I
don't have the xfce4 package registry in /var/db/pkg
now, but I still have a lot of xfce4 app under
/usr/local/bin

remove all xfce4

2005-03-24 Thread T.F. Cheng
yo! trying to remove all the xfce4 components so I can
rebuild it. I pkg_delete each individual *xfce*
package manually (probably a bad idea). But anyhow, I
can still find a lot of xfce4 app under
/usr/local/bin, this interfere with the rebuild
process since it think something is already there.
Anything I can do? thansk a lot!!
