[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #14099] wish: save global worklists

2009-10-18 Thread pepeto

Follow-up Comment #6, bug #14099 (project freeciv):

I see what it is linked to. It is because all worklists don't have the same
length. My patch for patch #1291 would fix that for S2_2 and trunk, when
cazfi would commit it.

Re: [Freeciv-Dev] Error while linking

2009-10-18 Thread Daniel Markstedt
This seems to have been a problem with libiconv 1.13 provided by
MacPorts. Manually installed 1.13.1 and got further.

This is the first time I'm trying to build Freeciv on this machine
(running OS X 10.6.1) so I cannot say for sure whether it's a problem
with my environment or something else.

 Any ideas?

I can't seem to connect to my S2_2 server with my S2_2 client - the
connection is refused due to mismatching capstrings. Namely, the
server is asking for +2.1g CreatedName voteinfo.

Pepeto, do you recognize this?

[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #14549] Crash - unknown cause

2009-10-18 Thread Jordi Negrevernis i Font

Follow-up Comment #1, bug #14549 (project freeciv):

This happens a lot with current S2_1. It happens when you open a city or when
you select a unit from the city window.

It seems like a memory leak... the system degrades over time and before
crashing the OS begins swapping like crazy and then civclient crashes.

 Assigned to:None = pepeto

___

Follow-up Comment #2:

Thank you for the report. I found 3 calls to notify_player() in ai/aicity.c
which haven't been updated. As cazfi was worried about, it is due to the
missing color strings in those message. So it used the improvement name
instead as message format, and the real format as foreground color. Fix
attached.

[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #14533] Explorer does not exhaust movement on railroad

2009-10-18 Thread Ann

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #14533 (project freeciv):

In this saved game, there is a Spanish explorer in the territory of Denmark.
To replicate the problem, command the explorer to 'x'. In 2.1.9, the explorer
will move a few paces, then focus will move to the transport. After you do
something with the transport, focus will again return to the same explorer.
If you hit 'x' again he will then cover additional territory.

Thank you for the savegame. It is so easier to understand the problem when
you can reproduce it. Fix attached.

It was considering the units moved if its moves left decreased. Changing to
check it is not at the same tile.

In fact, 2.1.9 did have this problem...
