Follow-up Comment #2, bug #21047 (project freeciv):

The actions exist in the menu drop-downs, we can select all on tile or select
type on tile, but not very useful unless macros are used.  Is there a way the
mouse can do these selections at the unit/tile locations?

I also noticed this issue, i cannot group sea units into convoys, i have
to move each one by hand, what i expect is to group and move a fleet of ships
i.e. destroyers  transports.

Details:

The server setting diplcost defines a percentage penalty for receiving
technology and gold from a diplomatic treaty. I think there should be separate
settings for each. If diplcost is set to 100 to make trading techs less
profitable, it invalidates all gold payments. Including those that have
nothing to do with technology transfers.

I'm re-opening this as i want this feature in the release.  From

Details:

Each time i increase/decrease the gold amount during diplomacy i get a long
repetitive message, this quickly fills up any buffers in my messages
scroll-back with 100's or 1000's of repetitive messages, i think if the
message is exact copy of the previous message it should just display it once
and say how many repeats.

It's a feature of messages-window that it's cleared for each turn. Usually you
can count on all messages you see to be fresh ones (if it says that city
finished building something, you know city needs new build target etc) One
could in fact count it as bug that when you first connect ot game and you get
messages from event cache, it displays those of old turns too.
Chat-window, on the other hand, is meant to show messages in cumulative
manner. If you prefer that, set all the messages you want to see to appear in
chat-window in Game-Options-Message.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or by design, or just not programmed in, but if
all workers leave a tile (or perhaps stop working) the improvements partially

The catalan nation is in the medieval group. So this is how i think it has to
stay.

BTW, You only have a problem with the Catalan nation, not with the aragonese,
the galizian or the basc nation... Typical Spanish...

Maybe, that's why we want to be free and declare independence from Spain.

Details:

Some enums have corresponding bit vectors were the enum values and the bits
have a one to one relationship. This patch makes it possible to specify that
relationship by defining the bit vector in the specenum. To make it easy to
port existing bitvector/specenum pairs the name of the bit vector is specified
as well. I don't mind changing it to generate the name based on a convention
in stead if that is desired.

Full dislosure: I may over estimate how useful this is to Freeciv. I use the
Freeciv source code to auto generate Java code that talk to Freeciv over the
network. By adding this type information to specenum it becomes easy to read
for machines. This makes adding it to the generated Java code in stead of
doing it by hand easier. By making the information part of the Freeciv source
code doing something useful it will also be kept in sync with Freeciv. If this
goes in I hope to add the information to the enum bit vectors used in the
network protocol.

There seems to be fortress. There were a couple of bugs related to fortresses
within city radius fixed about a year ago. IIRC one of them was that fortress
within city radius didn't change owner even when someone entered it. So those
tiles could be claimed by the fortress owned by old city owner.

I did wonder about that fortress (we can't see who's in it). But the fortress
tile is owned by the red player according to the (lack of) border markings; I
don't recall, could it still be claiming other tiles?

Umh, there's two fortresses in the screenshot - I think you missed the
important one where the Polish (and as the city owned by the Poles is in red
area, I gather they are red player) alpine troops stand, still owned by purple
player, and claiming those two adjacent ocean tiles.

I'm quite sure you don't need to depend on SPECENUM_COUNT being defined - it's
just the name of the variable to store max value of the specenum. The max
value should be available to you (internally to specenum module) in any case.
