Details:

Client could crash in pregame page, when there is ongoing game and turn was
changed (client was told to update information label which wasn't created
yet).
Fix attatched.

Follow-up Comment #3, patch #6452 (project freeciv):

I'm inclined to agree with lachu; if we (or someone else) wants to preserve
experimental-as-it-was-in-2.5 or whatever, we can maintain it in
freeciv-modpack for 2.6 and later. (If experimental is renamed without
countermeasures, there's not even a savegame compatibility argument.)

Otherwise we have to think of another name when 'sandbox' similarly becomes
too popular to mess with.

Starting with 2.6, I'd like to be more bold with the 'experimental' ruleset
and showcase new features in every major release (and catch up with old
features not yet in any ruleset).

We could start renaming the experimental ruleset we ship to make the major
version number in it -- experimental2.6, experimental3.0, etc -- which leaves
room for someone to maintain a savegame-compatible experimental2.5 for S2_6 as
a modpack.

Details:

It is documented in the help text of the horses them self (via the "Horse"
flag). A user wondering what makes Pikemen better than Phalanx won't check the
help for horses.

(Should this be done as auto generated help text for combat bonuses or is
there an argument against it that I'm not aware of?)

If all branches are affected, it's probably best:

S2_5: Add handwritten help in case of supplied rulesets, expect ruleset
authors to do the same.

S2_6 & TRUNK: Add the functionality to autogenerate help from combat bonuses,
but also extend combat bonus definition with optional 'silent' option similar
to what we have for effect requirements -> d3f issue.
