Re: Question about EAP-TTLS session resumption

2013-04-29 Thread David Bird

The user 'bob' does not exist, so FreeRADIUS does the correct thing (i.e.
rejecting the user). This has not been in doubt at all.

Instantiate a new EAPTTLSAuthenticator() for each authentication session
and you should be fine. The Authenticator class is there to maintain a
context through a single authentication session, generally.

Re: Failed to load module jradius freeradius server

2013-03-08 Thread David Bird
Hi Arran,

Thanks for the note that support for rlm_jradius has been removed in FR
3.0. I'm slightly disappointed that it wasn't brought forward from 2.x,
but can understand that it's not considered a standard module (even
though it is included in some popular distributions). I haven't been
following the changes in 3.0 very carefully, but if the demand is there,
I will look into updating it for 3.0. Even though I do consider
supporting and compiling freeradius modules 'on-topic' for freeradius
mailing list, anyone is welcome to bring up the topic at
jrad...@coova.org instead.

Cheers,
David

Right, so jradius won't have been built.

jradius support is going away, it will *NOT* be in Version 3 unless someone
contributes a new version of the module which works with the updated jradius
 protocol.

jradius 1.1.3

2010-10-13 Thread David Bird
Hello,

For those using rlm_jradius, there is a new release of the JRadius
server: http://www.coova.org/JRadius

Be sure to upgrade your rlm_jradius ! (probably the most common issue we
hear about; I submitted a patch a while back, but haven't followed it
up)

Get it from (also included in java distro):
http://dev.coova.org/svn/cjradius/trunk/freeradius/rlm_jradius/

There have also been improvements with the RADIUS simulator/client in
supporting RadSec, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS/PAP, and PEAP. Screen shots and
basic info: http://coova-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/JRadiusSimulator.pdf

Cheers,
David
