Perhaps I don't know the format of the files, but in the
".source_version" file in the root of the tarball, there are 2 lines.
$ pwd
/usr/ports/distfiles/freerdp-2.1.2
$ cat .source_version
[RUN] echo 2.1.2
2.1.2
This seems to be causing a problem within the CMakeLists.txt file:
if(EXISTS "${CMAKE_SOURCE_DIR}/.source_version" )
file(READ ${CMAKE_SOURCE_DIR}/.source_version GIT_REVISION)
string(STRIP ${GIT_REVISION} GIT_REVISION)
Build:
...
FREERDP_VERSION=2.1.2
-- Git Revision *[RUN] echo 2.1.2**
**2.1.2*
-- Performing Test Wno-deprecated-declarations
...

The main release archive is still the tar.gz on pub.freerdp.com that won't change. I see that the 2.1.2 file at https://pub.freerdp.com/releases/ is a ZIP file. Is that deliberate?
