Re: daisy-chaining back up drive?
I am using FreeNas 8 on a Pentium 4 computer that was no longer in use and I can store files from Windows, Mac, Linux and Unix if I want and it is easy to connect to from any computer. Running for 3 months and has been great so far. I plan on getting an ATOM board in the future for lower power usage. Hi, I bought a G4 MDD 1.25 Dual off ebay for 40.00 local pick up missing hard drive memory and video card so installed parts from my G4 MDD single 1.25 including two hard drives one with Leopard and the other with 9.22 and on both OS's I get an SPP icon show up on the desktop containing aliases to programs that don't exist of course just wondering where this folder comes from is it in the firmware and how do I go about removing.
