Look in System Pref. If you have a pref pane called Stuffit AVR and it's checked... Uncheck it. Re: G4 iMac desktop screen keeps redrawing
Do you have StuffitDeluxe installed? If the answer is YES, do a search for Stuffit AVR. If you find it, disable it or delete it and see if the problem goes away. I have a G4 iMac, running 10.4.11. In the past week, I have noticed that the desktop screen keeps re-drawing every few minutes. I ran Disk permissions and Onyx and I didn't get any negative messages. Any idea what could be causing the re-drawing? (i hope I am explaining "redrawing" as the right action. The desktop blinks and then everything on it appears again.) jane --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs. Re: G4 iMac desktop screen keeps redrawing
could be a refresh issue. Go to system prefs and look under displays. See if you can change the refresh rate.-Jonas On Tue, Mar 17, 2009 at 4:24 PM, wrote: > I have a G4 iMac, running 10.4.11.
