I myself am pretty offended when people come on a list and push people

but it oftentimes sounds to me like brainwashed commercialism

But I don't complain because a) its not my job, and b) oftentimes they
just push harder (in my real life it happens).

I wonder how many people leave the lists because of this without ever
saying anything ? (they tell us in business marketing 9 out of 10

But don't mind me too much, I'm offended by apple these days almost as

The case eventually cracks where the lid indentations close down on
the keyboard. This is well documented and doesn't affect it's
operation, but you should be aware of it.

Re: White MacBook Purchase?

2009-03-16 Thread Mike Baker

Maybe, but it doesn't have the sharp edges the aluminum unibody MacBook has,
and you could buy the low end stock model for $999 to accomplish what she wants
to do with it. I would probably have Apple put in the extra 2GB RAM, or do it
myself, and get a bigger hard drive than 120 GB.

The cases definitely were not built to last. A plastic piece just broke off
my teacher's macbook. The palm rests show allot of wear. They definitely are
inexpensive. If you get an earlier model you can get them for like $500. I
would almost go for a later powerbook.-Jonas
