Re: can *anyone* advise on Flash PPC problem??

Is Migration Assistant a blunderbuss all-or-nothing tool? Or can it
be managed to just the few programs I need... basically I need MAIL
archives and accounts to move over, I need browser online passwords
and keychain stuff to move over... I want the G5 to be NOT used for
any on-line functions and relegated to it's work as an editing
system. The intel is the home workhorse.

Boot the G5 in firewire target mode, connect it to the Intel and
use Migration Assistant to move everything over.

Use HTML5 instead of Flash. Look here:

http://www.youtube.com/html5

1.8 DP G5/Leopard PPC. Flash stopped working on OmniWeb when I
installed Leopard Webkit, which I've now uninstalled. Does anyone know
why this happens? I even reinstalled OmniWeb, no Flash. I even copied
my known good fake version of Flash 11.5 and placed it inside OmniWeb.
That version the OmniWeb prefs read as invalid, and the version in
Library it reads as registered---but not loaded. In any case, no
dice, no Flash on Youtube.

Why Why Why? Can anyone imagine a fix?

How bad is this and are there symptoms of being invaded?
Running a G5 dual under 10.4.11 for sound work, Am I right in that I
think I need to lock this back to completely isolated use exclusively?
I WOULD like to keep it connected to the LAN for access top and from
other computers for file transfer.

Never having done it correctly, what;s the procedure for
transitioning getting all email, passwords for websites and all that

thanks

I don't have a solution, other than keep trying. Surely you must be
able to get some version working at least partially.
