[Audyssey] psp
Hi all I got my psp today. I've done a bit of browsing and, I couldn't believe it, however there are user manuals down at http://www.playstationc.om Under the psp section. They're not in pdf and are, in fact online. Not to mention, the menu items go in order, so you can memorize it pretty easily. I also got burnout legends and tekken dark reserection, so there will be more info to come as time goes on. I'm just fooling around with the settings as we speak. Hi, Try going into control panel and changing the voice to a Scansoft voice. Do you get an error similar to ?The specified voice could not be played because of a problem with your sound card."? I don't remember the exact error, but if this is happening, contact me off list. I may still have the file I created long ago to fix the issue. Munawar A. Hi Claudio, The game you are talking about is called 3D Velocity. it is made by BPC Programs. http://www.bpcprograms.com However, it is very much in development right now. The current demo has some bugs in it, and I would personally recommend waiting until BPC releases the full demo. Cheers. Hi, As a user of Jim's games under Vista one thing I have found with his games if you want to keep the security of User Account Control and play his games it is a good idea to install the games to your local directory tree. For example, my user name is Thomas so all of my Kitchens Inc stuff is installed to c:\users\Thomas\Kitchensinc which is easy enough to do. instead of accepting the default install path install the Winkit and games to your local directory. The reason why I do this is I do not want to disable the User Account Control feature of Vista which is a very good security feature built into Vista. With it on sometines it will effect the operation of Jim's games such as saving settings and saving games. With it in your local directory User Account Control will leave the programs alone. However, if you choose to disable User Account Control then accepting the defaults are fine. Jim's games will operate as well as they did under XP. Cheers. Found it. Thanks. I notice that it only shows the last game played. I was hoping that it would show the current record of all played courses. This brings up ideas for your next update to the game if you plan one. How about these features being added: 1. A setting that will let you play the next course in the list rather than having you select a course to play. This way, you could, so to speak, tour the country or world, of courses, and play them all. This setting could be either on or off at your choice. 2. A file created that shows your low score for all courses and your overall average score compared to what the average par would be. People could use this to challenge each other to see who is the best golfer. The one who has the average score that is the farthest under par after all courses have been played is the best golfer. To be fair, all courses should be played before this comparison, but that would be a rule in some sort of tournament or between the participants. --- Laughter is the best medicine. Was talking to Che yesterday about why Rail Racer didn't work, and we concluded it was a problem with Sapi settings because I had scansoft and neospeech voices on my computer. Apparently, this screws up sapi settings and doesn't allow me to play rail racer. Does anyone know of a fix, or what to look for on google? Hi Brandon, Basically Vista does not much like my self extracting zip files so you have to have administrative rights to run (unzip) them. Below is what I tell people. You have already installed the winkit.zip, so just disregard that part. The first thing that you need to do is to run the setup.exe file in the winkit.zip file as it installs files that the rest of the games need. So open the winkit.zip file, press S and then enter. The winkit.zip file is the first link on my free windows text to speech games page. The rest of my games require full administration rights to install. To do this arrow to the games installation file, press the Windows context menu key, arrow to run as administrator, and press enter. This will allow you to install the game as administrator.
