Hey Yohandy and all. Yeah I too have discovered that I like the fighting games genre. I currently have Tekken Dark Resurrection for my psp and am going to pick up MK Unchained as soon as the blasted EB Games here in town gets a copy in. As for MK VS DC, that sounds cool as well, however I don't have the cash for a ps3 at this point and probably won't anytime soon so probably won't get to play that one very soon here. I'm not criticizing the game in any way, just putting my opinion out there. I've only played the demo mind you, but I suspect the online version is almost identical, only with a real opponent and not a computer player. Now if you were to create an actual fighting game, and it had online playability, I'd be the first to buy it. I absolutely love fighting games. not sure why there haven't been any fighting audiogames created, I don't imagine it would be all that difficult. Re: [Audyssey] Windows 7 versus Vista
Hey thanks for this Thomas, this ought to be handy as I am considering setting up my spare box as a Linux machine. It would be interesting to know if there are folks out there particularly blind ones who are just running Linux. What I tend to find with the people that I know around here who run it is that they tend to have a Linux system and a windows system or two partitions on the same system. This is because they want to run Linux when they can and they need to have windows to run a specific application or do something that can't be done very well in Linux. Now that I think of it I believe that you fall into that camp yourself if memory serves. So what if anything do you find Windows to be indispensable for? I have personally become so disgusted with Microsoft's policies and lack of quality control that when the stuff I have will no longer run I will probably be looking for a serious alternative to Windows. Re: [Audyssey] fighting games was Re: my oppinion to the game marked
Hrm, There was something about ninjas--darkstalker chronicles if I'm not mistaken. I can't find tekken hear, darn it! And mk: Unchained, iether. I would also like to go on a little bit of a rant here, because its what I do best, and because I think I have proof to back myself up. So like Sega and Nintendo were neck in neck when the beloved Genny hit the market. The genny was the first to ever release a video game with blood in it- Nintendo Cringed at the idea, hence the reason nowadays they make these games fit for, well, kids. Sure there are the odd game- but it doesn't hold a candle to Sega, or sony. I remember when everyone was hyped about the ps2. Well, It totally whiped out the dreamcast- which had some notable fighting games. If anyones interested, there's a streetfighter game, and a Mortal Kombat game I managed to snag. There's probably some more, I've just been too busy to look. The dreamcast is a half decent price- 30 bucks, perhaps- and usually come with a few games. Have a good day from Tyler C.
