Hi Lindsay,
Charles had my web site spelled a little wrong.
For a long list of companies that are developing accessible games and
descriptions of over 60 commercial games go to,

[Audyssey] Wild West level in Monkey Business?

2008-10-01 Thread Bryan Peterson
Has anyone else noticed that the Wild West Level seems to be missing? I wrote
to Draconis some months back but I now realize I never did get a response. I
assume that's a bug since the manual still lists it. It's just really bizarre.
And that's always been one of my most favorite levels in thegame.

[Audyssey] Dealing with the Insane Blaster in Tarzan Junior

2008-10-01 Thread kelby carlson
Anybody have any tips on this guy? The sound is so weird its
impossible to tell where he is. How can you beat those things
without pulling your hair out?

Kelby

Doomed Dragon

It is quite easy for me to think of a God of love mainly because
I grew up in a family where love was central and where lovely
relationships were ever present. It is quite easy for me to
think of the universe as basically friendly mainly because of my
uplifting hereditary and environmental circumstances. It is
quite easy for me to lean more toward optimism than pessimism
about human nature mainly because of my childhood experiences.
It is impossible to get at the roots of one's religious attitudes
without taking in account the psychological and historical
factors that play upon the individual.

Re: [Audyssey] Games

2008-10-01 Thread Tom Randall
Hi Lindsay,

In addition to those already mentioned here, I would also say that BSC
Games has some other titles besides Troopanum, you can try demos for
free from their website which is www.bscgames.com.

Also, if racing is your thing, do not miss Rail Racer from
www.blindadrenaline.com. This is one of the more full-featured
accessible games out there as it includes things such as support for
multiple types of controllers, as well as both single player and
real-time online multiplayer mode.
Hope this helps.

Tom

I know the insain blaster moves across the screen. I just fire 10 shots
at him as fast as I can. It's sort of hard to get him sometimes. The
leader of the torgans is one hard torgan to beat.

Re: [Audyssey] Mainstream games

2008-10-01 Thread Tom Randall
Hey Bryan and all.

Well my collection as far as older stuff goes includes a regular Atari
2600, an atari 2600 JR. an Atari 800, and 800XL, a 130XE, a Sega
Genisis, and an Atari Lynx plus various software and drives and
controlers for all systems. All of this gear works. For newer stuff
all I currently have is my psp but as I said I am working on picking up
probably a ps2 for a newer home console fairly soon. I still really
like the old game systems but I must admit I am really starting to enjoy
the newer stuff as well which was not the case until fairly recently.

Best regards,

Tom

I happen to have an Atari, a regular NES, Super NES, Game Boy Advance
and
Game Cube. Not a massive collection but the Atari still works, which is
rare
these days. Of course I did recently discover a web site whose owner
specializes in just such things as Atari and the other older gaming
systems.
I've never gotten a defective product from him, Systems, joysticks,
games,
you name it he probably has it in stock from time to time. They're a bit

pricy but considering he completely rebuilds everything and tests it
thoroughly before selling it it's worth it. As I said I've never once
gotten
a defective game or other product from him. And he accepts PayPal, so
ordering is fairly easy.

Re: [Audyssey] Dealing with the Insane Blaster in Tarzan Junior

2008-10-01 Thread dark

Hi kelby.

funny, I was playing Tj earlier today.

As it says in the manual, the insane blaster moves from one side of the area
to the other, and when he gets right across, he'll bomb you.

While he's moving, he'll say aahaa

what I do, is when I here him on one side, I move across until i'm just
slightly in front of where he's going, so if he's on the left, I'm just
one position to the right of his last aaahaa.

i then blast away, then reload, and move one right, blast again, and he's
gone! obviously if he's going right to left, I'm moving left instead of
right.

Using this method I can finish him off every time and absolutely never get
bombed unless I'm really! unlucky.

Hth.

Beware the Grue!

Dark.
