Have you got the latest 2.41, --- -the one that has your pet? the previous version had cave bats be a total pest, this one is much fairer. It does have increased enemy frequencey to compensate for the fact that the dungeon floors are bigger, sinse otherwise (as happened in the previous release), you get to a stage of just wandering around for no reason with nothing to fight. Hi Shaun, Yeah, I know that allot of people use headphones for game play. Especially when you need stereo listening. I just have never liked headphones. They do not sound as good as my speakers, I can not hear around me which makes me feel isolated and they make my ears hot. Guess that I am lucky in that my desk is V shaped which allows me to set my speakers up for good stereo separation. I have occasionally forgot to turn off the microphone though and that throws off the stereo effect since it picks up and broadcasts the sound from one speaker. Hi Thomas, Thank you. I was pretty much planning on going with the 32 bit system. I may be wrong, but I also thought that Jaws had a problem with the 64 bit system. But I was just thinking that the 32 bit system would be more friendly with my old VB6 games and other old software that I like to run. well I have always liked 32 bit systems I have had them all my life and traditionally they are supported. however win7 will be the last system you can run on them at the moment. Well i have expensive phones which really do the system justice. The reason I don't run my speakers though I have 2 sets and a couple amps is the fact I sit or rather my room sits next to the computer centre. so my brother is in there with his own speakers, more importantly there is my dad who doesn't like noise. Since having speech going through there sounds really bad I don't use them unless I want to. I also like headphones because it can make things realistic in the fact you here every pan this is good in dvs movies and podcasts to. Saying your cheap 9 dollar headphones are really not what I'd choose, to get good sound you need senheiser, or something like that. they cost but they do last. Hi Hayden, You're not the first to encounter this. There was one other case on the entombed list who seemed to have somehow slipped through the net earlier as well. The list itself is pretty high traffic, so your best bet is probably to drop an email to the developer Jason on evildi...@gmail.com and describe the steps you went through. No doubt he'll spot it on here at some point, but I think you'll agree a bug like this should be squashed sooner rather than later. In v2.4 and 2.41 there was a bug where simply creating an account would enable the full version, but this has been fixed and it no longer does that. The latest version is 2.42. That was me. I'd just run version 2.41 and I wanted to create my account in advance. Then it asked me to log in so I did. That's when it said the full version was enabled. Haven't tried it with 2.42 yet but it did revert to a demo when I upgraded versions. I just don't want to take a chance on it happening again since I don't want to be tempted to exploit it. Worth playing quite probably, accessible no. I have read through the manual and put some suggestions to niels about adding access features, however time wise he seems to prefer the idea of adding them into empires and dungeons 2, which is currently in developement. the game which is on the verge of release though (currently it's in private beta), Tv manager 2, is going to have the same compatibility mode which smugglers 4 did, and is sounding interesting indeed. check out the blog on the nielsbaur site for details (you can find it at the old forum link), also keep an eye on the audiogames.net news, sinse I'll report anything else I here from them up there. brian has jayson actually said its been fixed or actually said there was a bug? if so I have not seen any message on that. as far as I got it down to, I know it was isolated and probably server side but no official reports have come out at least I have not seen them. till that happens its still an unknown official bug its not been solved and right now its fair game, ofcause if I get through the mail today that I am reading and find this actually is true then so be it. note that i am not critising anyone or anything but I don't want us to jump to conclusions however I will put a quary to the list for an official responce to see if there is actual report.
